These creases seem to be more evident from the inside front cover and even if pressed out before submission, although not color breaking may have been visible due to reversion

when observed under lights at different angles, flaws like fingerprints, indentations, smudges, etc are all more evident when in hand

I was being facetious but still a significant chunk will get deducted and fees may be charged by banks, irs, etc. Still not worth the hit to a seller’s reputation after building trust in a community for an extended amount of time imo

Seems legit. Looked at their other auctions and all seem to use the same backdrop in photos that at least tells me the person is in possession of the actual item. Their feedback would also indicate a legit seller. With the amount of transactions the seller has, I doubt they would ruin their own reputation for 13k.

I have a chance to get my hands on a decent copy of my holy grail: Hulk #1 from a friend so I’ve been posting some slabs in the copper/modern thread that’ll get me closer to his asking price Probably the most realistic goal for the new year until I set X-men #1 as a goal next

My ex-wife (with whom I still have an amicable relationship with [go figure 🤷🏻‍♂️]) used to refer to my comics as “garbage” and question why I would want to receive such trash as a gift. Flash forward to the last couple of years and she always seems to hit me up for a loan when she sees the nice profit I make flipping books as an occasional side hustle. I get such a warm, fuzzy feeling whenever she gives me the opportunity to throw that one back in her face and me being the individual_without_enough_empathy I am, I never pass it up

I would question her intelligence seeing how far the sarcasm went over her head
