  1. C-2 is the quality of restoration in regard to how it was done, not the amount
  2. The “Austin” sig looks pretty legit. Haven’t seen Rogers’ before. Good find in any case
  3. If it is, that’s minuscule compared to all the bleed through on the video copy. He’ll be lucky if the cover isn’t completely detached when he’s done butchering that spine. This one looks more like the normal chipping from marvel sa books.
  4. One of my favorite art books
  5. Spidey getting friendzoned
  6. I checked out once he said cutting out the color touch shouldn’t affect the presentation. …and expects a 4.0 blue? Cracking a case doesn’t leave a mess either if you know what you’re doing so the odds of this guy knowing what he’s talking about drops exponentially with every following sentence
  7. …and my personal favorite
  8. “Butch” was probably a nickname that one just outgrows over time or he was having a hard time cashing a check when his identification showed otherwise (speaking from experience 😉). I even stopped using “Billy” once I hit a growth spurt sometime in high school.
  9. Even the owner at my lcs was pronouncing it wrong and here I was laughing when he called him “John Barn” 🤣 (btw, that lcs is still in business 40+ years later and I only found out because a mutual acquaintance of the owner brought it up in a casual conversation about where he plays Magic the Gathering tournos) 🤣🤣🤣
  10. I remember seeing this as a kid and laughing at myself for pronouncing “Byrne” as “B-iron” 🤣
  11. A Neal Adams classic. I remember reading somewhere that actor Telly Savales (Kojak) was the intended likeness but his permission couldn’t be obtained for the original cover
  12. Walking away from a sale ok, so I had a Galactus action figure in my watchlist and the seller sends me an offer to which I asked a couple of questions, most importantly was whether the battery compartment had any corrosion as well as the condition of the joints. They responded in a timely manner, as the offer is only available for 48 hours but they left out what I asked about the corrosion by stating, “I’m not sure about the status of the batteries” I’m not worried about 20+ year old batteries, dude. The moral of the story: READING IS FUNDAMENTAL
  13. Apparently. Burt Ward didn’t either. https://www.slashfilm.com/1162294/bruce-lee-petrified-burt-ward-during-the-green-hornets-batman-crossover/
  14. Found this awesome mashup on Reddit
  15. I’m guessing the sun fade on X-Men 120 will make it easily identifiable
  16. Yeah, I looked up their “sold” listings and it seems like quite a few are from the stolen items from the news report. I wonder if some of the buyers that actually received the stolen merch will be contacted by law enforcement since they could be used as evidence and are technically still the property of the robbery victims
  17. I’ve had/have multiple copies of this book and all were high grade without that flaw and have even given some away here for the x-mas raffle. My guess is the copies you have come from a mishandled bundle during shipping/storage
