  1. I am the biggest Frazetta fanboy. That said, I’m going with Schomburg
  2. Agreed. However, I’ve never had a priority shipment damaged in transit to me, I have had numerous media rate packages damaged and I believe the amount of time in which the po is in possession of the item has a lot to do with it too. I use priority as a seller and offer it free with most purchases for the peace of mind along with the fact that it can be insured for the value of the book/s. It’s one problem less to worry about when selling in my experience. If others want to go a more frugal route, that’s on them but I won’t use it as a buyer or seller. Then again, I’m not buying/selling dollar bin/drek either so there’s that
  3. Most likely a green label but a request could get a blue universal with the “manufactured without staples” annotation. A purple label with “staples replaced or added” would be likely if you tried even if you managed to add a pair from the same era. Only going by what I’ve seen noted on similar books but it’s possible other members may have had different experiences. As the owner of a few of those types of books myself, I’d also be interested in learning a bit more on the subject
  4. Because as a buyer, I’ve come across too many sellers that ship their books media rate to save a buck or the post office themselves treat the package like dog sh*t. In either case, the books arrive damaged and the doors are now open to a bigger headache where neither want to take responsibility when a complaint is lodged.
  5. Just saw this for any tmnt fans https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/294640168?irgwc=1&sourceid=imp_SaAziHyd7xyNWoISnTTpOyyKUkA3gFwgE24Hxc0&veh=aff&wmlspartner=imp_10451&clickid=SaAziHyd7xyNWoISnTTpOyyKUkA3gFwgE24Hxc0&sharedid=&affiliates_ad_id=567111&campaign_id=9383
  6. At this rate, I’m surprised there’s anyone left to sell to over there 🤣
  7. I think that one’s on the colorist
  8. 10% off listed prices for all books until Monday 1/30/23 12pm est!
  9. Doesn’t look like the seller is the one to block
  10. These both have that vibe of a classic song being remade by a modern pop singer where live instruments get replaced with the latest studio software. I’d be a lot less “meh” if either of the newer artists told the story in an original way instead of just copying the panels in their own style. They’re interpreting the art instead of the story being told, maybe at the editor’s instructions, which seems like a lack of confidence in their creativity but given the opportunity to shine, they both should’ve tried to knock it out of the park but I’m only speaking for myself here. To each his own
  11. So, were you missing any items? When shipping labels are printed from eBay shipping, they rarely get the item weight or package size right. It usually depends on how much padding the seller may add to the packaging. Unless the seller left an item you ordered out of the package, I don’t see the issue here. also to clarify, as far as shipping charges, did he charge more for one than the other? I ask because I usually offer free shipping on my items and if the weight difference is significant, eBay will send me an additional charge to make up the difference for the purchased shipping label. Were you charged for a service like priority but items sent first class?
  12. It’s almost a good idea until one of the publishers lets politics get involved and turn a long term franchise with a loyal following into a horrible bastardization to destroy canon imo
  13. I get the feeling the wrong part of the book is gonna be “scratched and sniffed” by some collectors
  14. Well, in that sentiment, we can’t assume the gender of any of the aforementioned names these days either I guess…you know with “pronouns” and all
  15. Liefeld, Larsen, Suydam and whoever drew that god-awful cover to Morbius…and have Shredder’s army beat the sh*t out of them every issue

  18. In the meantime, you can always cut a similar laminated piece of wood as a partition/ center brace that will keep that shelf from sagging. Maybe flip that board over too if possible…just an option to consider
