  1. Hopefully cooled off a bit in here now. Big thanks to Hank and Fred @Polirer for all the Dell'Otto (and Finch) goodies. Finally got all of my raw Metal #1-#3 books. They all are spectacular. Cant wait for info on the next one.
  2. The Mattina Metal #4 cover swipe sold out on TCM in about 4 minutes. But in all honesty, I do appreciate the heads up Fred has given us and have been able to get some books I'd probably never have had the chance to. I took a trip to the store last year when I was up in NY to get some Dell'Otto books in hand because I was not 100% sure about buying online at the time and ensuring a high grade book (I was also new to grading books and have learned over the past year what to spot on a book thankfully). I was able to meet Hank and he was wonderful and helpful. I have been speaking with Fred for a few months now and had the chance to meet him in person this last visit to NY for NYCC. Both him and Hank are true fans of the art work. Let's try and get back to the reason for this thread and we can give each other a heads up on newly released info when the time comes. Can't we all just get along
  3. Glad I was able to grab mine. Thanks for all the info and updates.
  4. No coupon codes today, right? @Polirer
  5. Fred, do we have any inclination on what will be different in the Metal #5 Convention Edition yet?
  6. I believe Reverse Flash is the Metal #4 Convention Variant. It appears there will be one for Metal #5 as well.
  7. Any chance of adding Fabok at ACE to this one? If yes I'll take one. Thanks Rich!
  8. I went with a professed Aquaman fan and a staunch Marvelite (though his wife was decked out in Nightwing gear). They enjoyed it. Saw faults as well. We all agreed on the grade. The rest of the audience, at multiple points throughout the movie they clapped and cheered (something I'm not a fan of because come on! they cant hear you! but I digress) the post credits were seemingly loved by everyone. I even heard someone walking out 2 rows ahead of me saying "Yeah, F that RT score, they are definitely wrong, this was super fun"
  9. Just got back from second viewing. Still fun. Still enjoyable. Still definitely not perfect but for the life of me cannot comprehend how folks are tearing this apart. There are a few story beats that are either left incomplete or feel rushed. Still a letdown for the first time all of these characters are on screen together. Solid B-/C though. Am I missing something?
  10. My first Dell'Otto piece too. Super glad it got the numbering too. Can't wait for my next box of stuff this week. More Dell'Ottos on the way!
  11. Go see this, and enjoy the heck out of it!
  12. I have, I'd say solid B-. Character moments were great. Steppenwolf is mostly meh. These plot holes some speak of, not really sure what they are referring to. This was one of the more concise storylines in a DC Film. I'm going again Thursday. I'm glad it seems to be getting positive word of mouth so far. So much to say but I dont want to spoil it.
  13. Not yet, Hank said sometime this week hopefully.
  14. This bad boy just arrived yesterday, sorry for delay in photos, had to go see the Justice League screener.
  15. @Polirer So when's the new big reveal scheduled for?
  16. Hopefully with Benes, Tomasi and Gleason if available, THANK YOU!
  17. @ADAMANTIUM @Jaydogrules I was merely referring to the fact that there is another Dell'Otto exclusive coming our way from Bulletproof. I'm wagering a best guess here, potentially the Batman Who Laughs? Just waiting for the full reveal.
  18. @Polirer Is this what I think it is ?
  19. Nope, I was at NYCC as well. No one from that books team has been anywhere this year outside of Emerald City way back in March I believe.
  20. Did you just get Dell'Otto on the Superman #50 or any other part of that creative team? I'm sending my Superman and Batman #50s for the next one so hopefully they come back looking awesome in a few months.
