  1. Killer deal. Factor in the shipping and taxes you normally have to pay for each, and you pretty much got them at retail. You'll love them in person. I'm sure I will, I figured I'd get everything from the DC line first that I want, then I'll do the Marvel line which is going to be brutal.
  2. Looks like the comic shop I cleaned out a few months ago
  3. No, it doesn't. Eventually it will have to, as I only have so much space! With the DC pieces, so far my plan is to just pick up the chicks from the Bat universe, but Wonder Woman is very tempting. Yeah, expensive as collecting is, space is the main challenge with these things. I have every DC PF so far, with Superman on the way sometime this month, and Sinestro, Wonder Woman and Catwoman on order. Wonder how long I'll be able to keep up with the line before I tap out. Ha! And the problem never goes away, because once you get a taste of the PF's, everything else looks rinky dink in comparison. I used to be a big Bowen collector, and they still put out nice pieces, but I've ended up selling all of them over time because next to the SST PF's, they just look so "meh". As for space, if I stick to my guns, I should be fairly safe as far as DCU is concerned. I've got spots set aside for Ivy and Catwoman now that Harley is here. Down the road, if they should come to pass, I could see myself springing for Zatanna, Black Canary and Batgirl. And that should suit my needs. Now, Marvel is another situation entirely, and that's not counting indie stuff too. I have Red Sonja and Hellboy EX's on order and I'm already trying to figure out the logistics of where they'll finally come to rest. Of course, these are good problems to have! Exactly. One you start buying Sideshow pieces, everything else looks like trinkets. And that's not a knock on the quality of smaller stuff necessarily, but the size, presence and detail of a PF are unparalleled. LSFs are even crazier, but you're paying 5x the price. The Dr. Doom LSF is amazing, 50 inches tall and super detailed!
  4. I just picked up Batman, Harley and the Joker, All exclusives for $1500 shipped with original boxes! Couldn't pass that up.
  5. No, it doesn't. Right now I'm thinking of ways of getting a Mrs. Marvel so Jess isn't alone Have you seen the new Black Widow? It looks really nice, and it just came out, so it'll cost you a third of what Ms. Marvel would cost. For what it's worth, I no longer play the game of chasing old Sideshow pieces, even though there are a few I really want and would pay the going rate for. Sideshow is putting out so much stuff and the quality is getting better overall despite what some might say, so my rationale is why spend the equivalent of three awesome pieces on just one awesome piece? But that's just me. Just remember it's a marathon and not a sprint, I do need to get the Joker quickly since he isn't getting any cheaper. It's really about priority and who you want the most. Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and Venom are really expensive, I want all of them haha
  6. Harley looks great, the new green poison ivy looks amazing. Of course once you get harley you need a Joker and Ivy to go with it, then of course catwoman too...it doesn't end
  7. Pulled the trigger on Apocalypse the other day, He looked too good to pass up. http://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/marvel-apocalypse-sideshow-collectibles-200160/
  8. Everyone go out and find Swamp Thing #67 1st Hellblazer Preview
  9. Not so much a comic room as the venue for an intervention, Ha! I knew I should have showed my short boxes They're in the closet, but I get it. It's missing the true comic room vibe unless your storage boxes are also included. Looks like a college kid decorated the place. haha
  10. If you have a dedicated comic room, paint the walls black, it'll make everything else pop
  11. I'm kicking myself for not buying 3rd prints several years ago when they were much more affordable. You and me both. $10 in high grade Well no one has a crystal ball
  12. Still have yet to see an Image #1 book not sell out weather it is good or bad, they still sell out no matter what.
  13. Yea, you won't see DD until about another year-year and a half. Not crazy about the pose but I love all the detail and paint job on it, for $380, I'll grab it. The more I see the LSF Dr. Doom which stands 50 inches tall, the more I want it!!! $2,000 though...
  14. Yikes.. reminds me of Bedlam. Serial killer, new series, lots of variants. I'm treading lightly on this one. Think I'll skip this one
  15. 3 books for $10 with variants, hardly considered "heating up" If it was one book for that price then yes.
  16. Anyone see that Sandman 8 9.8 that just sold for $305? I had 3 copies in 9.8, Sold one to Harveyswick too cheap haha. I still have one for myself though. Sold the other for $265 a few weeks ago.
  17. People buy #1 issues anyway, weather it's good or not, If they see a #1 sitting on the shelf, they buy it. You can't chase and buy everything as much as we all want to.
  18. Use some floor to ceiling curtains that take up the whole wall, it'll look much better. This room would look great if it was all done in black and white
  19. 2nd prints are much harder to come by but they don't sell well as slabbed 9.8's. their 1st print counter parts sell much faster and at a higher price
  20. They do, and i've thought about that but I don't wanna get that then they come out with a PF Sandman after, Would be my luck
  21. Would love for sideshow to do a PF Sandman/Death, They have no problem cranking out the star wars stuff
  22. I'm really liking the Legendary scale statues, expensive but anything less than a PF is a waste of time and money.
