  1. How can a grader tell if the centerfold or cover is still attached? What about restoration? you can't see these things from a scan on a computer, these aren't sports cards
  2. You should have been here when the boards were new haha
  3. Of course he has that... Wouldn't expect anything less
  4. I need more early ASMs. I'd like to to upgrade this eventually. Glad I got it "cheap"
  5. Thanks Dan, Maybe stop selling the ones you get?
  6. This sale isn't sustainable, just like people paying this amount for XMen 120 and 129, they didn't stay there at those prices. This won't either
  7. Crow 1 9.8 just ended on Heritage for 18K w/BP wtf... Glad I kept my 9.4
  8. I'm an 80s kid and I'd rather have an AC 1. I don't care about nostalgia. I spent 90% of my time outside with my friends than inside playing with my action figures
  9. ASM 129 9.4/9.6 is high on my list. Hulk 180 I still wanna get, perhaps another 181, but probably not Man-Thing 1 X-Men 94 Same stuff most everyone wants
  10. If this was a copper/modern book, it would be a 8.0-9.0 with they way they been hammering newer stuff
  11. On 1/11/2022 at 11:31 PM, shadroch said: Someplace, lurking in the darkness, are a bunch of other suits staring at an industry generating hundreds of millions in revenue, driven by characters they own. His comment reminds me of something out of Spawn 10 by Dave Sims
  12. Only way around it is for sellers to keep comics raw and just charge the CGC online sales price
  13. Some guys on here are so loaded with cash they can buy an AF 15 without thinking twice so it doesn't seem rare to them, it's not rare, it's expensive and will continue to climb
  14. Its the fold thats off The black register is off too, but I'm just being ultra picky haha
  15. It's all about the popularity of the character, not how many are in circulation. Hulk 181s in 9.8 are hitting 100K, is it hitting that cause it's common? Of course not. The rarest comics don't always win, How bad do people want an AF 15 (any grade) Answer is pretty bad. The hobby has been exploding the last 20 years and it's not "Club Jazz" anymore, it's Arena rock n' roll now but not quite Stadium size rock n' roll yet, but it'll get there as more and more comic related content is released
  16. I can definitely see it, it'll be a 100K for a 1.0, it's joining AC 1 and TEC 27 territory
  17. 2.0 on Heritage just went for $38,400, up from a previous $28,800 since October
