From an ad:
Bob Kane wrote a song called "Have Faith in Me" that was recored by Hank Leids and the "Bat-Group" Courage. It was sold in the 45RPM format for $1.30, postage included which included the song "Have Faith in Me" and on the B-side "You've Got Me Crying."
From a column by Nelson Bridwell:
Action Comics #1 had a coloring contest in the book. The second story in the book "Chuck Dawson" was printed in black & white and the contest had you color the story, rip out the page, tuck it in the book and mail the entire book back to the publisher for grading. The best 25 entries won $1.00 each. So, basically, the last page of the first-ever Superman story was the first page of the Chuck Dawson coloring contest story. I imagine a few Action #1s got torn up this way.
Also from Bridwell:
"Since about 1960, many collectors have stockpiled up on certain issues, so these are not apt to become scarce." This was written in 1976.
The Ragman story was good. The art was great. Diving into issue #2 soon. Bought a reader set from MCS. Under grading from what I can tell. Good price.
