  1. I've worked in film for 30 years. Lighting. Snuck onto the set of Evil Dead 2 outta high school and never looked back. Then to Hollywood for phantasm 2 and countless movies various music videos for smashing pumpkins, nirvana, Rolling Stones, madonna, guns and roses still work with herb ritts hundreds of commercials with joe pitka, spike jonze loads of dumb stuff, too like the tv show I'm on now. Gotta go they're screaming for me on set
  2. I imagine CGC does that, right? They will confiscate comics that come into their shop if reported stolen and will return books to lawful owner? I know Rolex does this. Hoping things turn out well. Long shot I know, however, I'll keep an eye out in California.
  3. I agree with you but that's just my opinion. Just a valid opinion is that people like and collect signatures of creators. With that said, it doesn't particularly look like (to me) Stan Lee's scrawl, regardless of the time of day/type of day Mr. Lee has had. curious what this sells for.
  4. Thanks. 11/2015 Color touch, tear seals, piece added, top & bottom trimmed. And of course someone wrote "Stan Lee" on the cover in giant, ugly, and barley legible black magic marker.
  5. Can anyone read the seral number to figure out when this was put in plastic? All I got is this phone nowadays.
  6. Thanks for posting! Didn't realize X-Men 150 was that old.
  7. Do comic writer/artists charge for selfies with fans? the last big show I went to (Stan lee comikezze (2016) or whatever it's called) was filled asle to asle with what appeared to be professional cos player type people with their own tables charging for autograph/photos. Swarms of people around them ??
  8. I'm really eyeing that Ditko OA page with the first Lizard. (On CC or CL. I forget) only 75k. Cant be jumping pall over the place tho. Made a decision and I gotta stick wit it. See if it was a good idea 20 years from now. I'd love to see your collection, Picky. Hell you could charge admission. Curioys how you figure out what stays and what goes.
  9. Thought you didn't like pressed books and date stamps? You'd just flip it. Can't have that. FLIPPER! FLIPPER! Your book is something else. Wonder what it would do at auction
  10. Looks ok they're not rare. It is just a 9.0. I see these at every convention I go to. A lot of people must wanna unload 'em. I'll do you a favor ok and free up some space in your collection. I don't really need it but I'll do you a favor and take it off your hands.
  11. wonder if the same thing is gonna happen to the DK Master Race. It's pretty bad.
  12. I guess I just stuck with Miller and ignored the rest. I did pick up a TMNT 1-4 for a good price. (3rd Printing #1). Gonna read it one day see what the big f-ing deal is. I even like Miller's DKSA. Newer stuff forget it.
  13. Actually it's from the born again story line. #230 ? The high angle looking down onBen Urich at his desk
  14. I like his window blinds when Ben Urich is st the Dauly Bugle at night
  15. When Miller gets too out there (he's inching in that direction with his art work depicting Electra above) he loses me
  16. I loved it. Think it was the pinnacle of comics. Bought em when I was a kid and it really started a life long love of comics/collecting. I know he wasn't the first to use paneling like film noir, but it was the first I saw (excluding The Master Race. I read that one) However, I'm really bored at work and would like to hear the other side of the fence. Why did you hate it?
