  1. Why do you believe it's a cash grab? I'm not arguing with you, I'm just curious about the Miller OA market and know very little about it. Thinking about trying to get a piece of his Daredevil run in the next 2 or 3 years.
  2. What's the juice? Does the book come with some hooch?
  3. Marvel Premeire #47 is where I would put my money. I'm gonna be like Cal and his Iron Man and Submariner #1 collection (hording stash ?). I want all the MP #47's there are. I love Antman and see that character and the books he's in as the future of collecting. There is no way any Antman book will ever go down in popularity & value. FACT!
  4. That's why I was hoping someone else has (had) asked. I'm not gonna.
  5. I think you are in the 4.5 - 5.0 territory. Re Stan Lee signature for value bump: For this book I would do it.
  6. Uh, it was dave Cockrum that couldn't afford health care at the end of his life and Marvel payed into his doctor's bills.
  7. During one these guys convention appearances has anybody ever asked these guys point blank what they made? I guess that would be rude.
  8. Thanks. I need to re-read that book. I'm guessing Claremont got screwed. Also in the Marvel book is a paragraph about Miller berating Marvel in front of them at a con in Baltimore in 94. He brings up Claremont.
  9. I finished the Wolverine TPB (after holding the falling-out pages together). It collects the Wolverine 4 issue series in '82 by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller and I got to thinking: How much money do you think Claremont got for writhing that? What do comic scripters make? Thanks in advance.
  10. Or you could buy a Grand Seiko that's completely handmade for around 5k. Sorry, I'm a Grand Seiko fanboy
  11. Bought the Claremont/Miller Wolverine TPB new at the LCS (printed in 2015) and began reading it folding the pages back and the spine started to split and pages started to fall loose. Book says it manufactured between 6/24/2015 and 7/27/2015 by R.R. Donnelley, Inc., Salem, Virginia. Nice Job R.R. Donnelley you've made a $17.00 POS.
  12. Man it's early. I'm not sure that's even English. Thank you for posting the CGC grade is what I was trying to say.
  13. Thank you for letting us trying to learn grading what CGC put it at.
  14. Spiderman is a good man. I like him.
  15. No. I've never read the 4 issue miniseries from 82. So i'm looking forward to that.
  16. I'm sorry if this was a stupid thread but I was trying to be first on new boards and couldn't think of anything. However, I do like Frank Miller and have never read the Claremont/Miller book> I might be the first to apologize on the new boards, tho.
