  1. Absolutely yes. Or maybe you're agreeing with me. I dunno. People should learn film/tv production other than just hitting a button on their phone and it being on You Tube.
  2. That's cool. Maybe he's just a behind the keyboard insane guy. I understand someone doing that to protect themselves. Kind of.
  3. In theory it seems that giving everyone a distribution channel is a good idea. In actuality it is not.
  4. Neither. Annoying Standing-On-The-Corner shrieking about 9/11 being an inside job voice. Alex Jones InfoWars manic ranting voice. Making political commentary on home made You Tube channel in the basement voice. Walking wounded Fox News casualty voice.
  5. I don't know. Out of my league, education, experience, knowledge. Out of my everything. Were the other CC sales of AF15 in the same auction "soft?": 5.0 - $33,500 4.0 - $24,111 2.0 - $14,001 There does seem to be a never ending supply of these books. And, yes, a seeming never ending demand.
  6. thanks. i kinda figured as much. just wanted to ask someone that was there and witnessed first hand.
  7. Thank you but I wanna go back further in time. Like I said, pre LCS.
  8. Got a question for some of our beloved OG members. Was there ever such a buzz about a new comic that folks lined up outside of the store for it? By store I'm talking non-LCS/pre LCS 1960s or 70s (or at least at a time LCS were less prevalent). Let's say lining up at a Wollworth's kinda place that sold comics. Thanks!
  9. Super cool. Didn't know Miller did that. Thanks.
  10. Thanks. I have seen that. I guess the original ad art is long gone.
  11. cool. i remember all those Cannon film ads in Variety. Pages and pages of them. Rarely were these films ever made.
  12. ok, thanks for input. let me rephrase this: What is the best OA comic art you have seen? The Charles Atlas/X-Ray spec is cool but does someone have the OA?
  13. OA for ads that appear in comics. the "132 Roman Soldiers" ad (Russ Heath?) or one of the Hostess Fruit Pie w/marvel characters? Sea Monkeys?
  14. Damn, maybe my time here isn't wasted after all. Congrats and thank you.
  15. My drekollection isn’t up to par. I gotta get serious about buying books again instead of wasting so much time here.
  16. I don't get drunk much, but when I do..... I'm actually kinda surprised I didn't create more hostility/nonsense/trouble for myself.
  17. YOU NOTICED! That whole Rom doll thing, well, I was kinda drunk.
  18. Here, Hollywood try this: Write an original story with crisp dialogue, two solid plot points.....oh, forget it. One of my wife's friends said something like she's glad Spiderman is now a woman or whatever the latest PC bastardization is now of his character that she heard about on NPR and I responded, "Well, are you buying the comic now that Spiderman is a woman or asian or black or in a wheelchair or is trans or..." and she said, "No." and I said: WELL NO ON ELSE IS!
  19. I have to agree with you. You rarely say anything that's very detailed or researched, but here you are correct. that was a joke.....
