  1. Unless PGX agrees to hand out grades for X amount of dollars I’m not sure how they're even a viable operation at this point. You want the cheaper alternative to CGC with no membership fees go to CBCS. Anything recently graded by PGX should automatically be suspect.
  2. At least they paid you out. You run that risk will all insurance companies. They have the right to deny coverage.
  3. And they ship very quickly. Yazoo Mills is the gold standard when it comes to shipping tubes in the print and poster business. They've been around for a long time.
  4. Are there any reported issues pressing square bound magazines such as horror, fantasy titles (Famous Monsters) and modern issues of Playboy? Does pressing turn out equally as well on covers with a matte finish as opposed to glossy? Thanks.
  5. You'll want to open up a PayPal dispute immediately. Of course, the seller is probably going to claim the book has been tampered with since he sold it to you. He'll argue that it's no longer in the PGX holder, so it's not the same book. If the seller were honest and reputable, not saying he's not, he'd take the high road and refund you your money then he would be the one to go after PGX and whoever sold it to him. Cases like this are why you use PayPal. If PayPal doesn't intervene, then you have no choice but to contact your credit card issuer. PayPal can and will side with the credit card issuer. What I mean by this is if PayPal denies your claim then you file a dispute with your bank, and they approve the claim, PayPal by law and their underwriting would have to reverse the dispute to your favor. I know you are probably pretty pissed, and rightfully so, but the good news is you put this on a credit card and paid through PayPal so as long as you are inside their window for filing a dispute, you will be ok.
  6. What kind of item were you selling? The reason I ask is in today's day and age with Amazon Prime 2-day delivery, instantly being able to summon an Uber ride and order a Dominos pizza from practically anywhere we live in a society that moves fast, and people want things quickly. Unless you're out of town, a three-day handling delay can upset a lot of buyers. eBay's now prioritizing listings from sellers who offer free shipping and have handling times of no more than one day.
  7. Has anyone experienced any issues with the post office in shipping back issues of comics and magazines with advertisements to customers via media mail? I know the post office states no advertisements yet I regularly see books listed with shipping via media mail. What if the advertisements are expired? Has anyone had the post office open envelopes up and audit the package and contents inside?
  8. I'd like to see this as well. No used DVDs on this title after searching ebay.
  9. https://www.yazoomills.com/ try these. Nearly indestructible. Great product.
  10. Masonite board from Home Depot. I've never had them charge me for cuts there, and you’re talking ~22 plus pieces for a $12 board. I ship it through the USPO all the time.
  11. Best thread in the history of online, internet message boards. Period.
  12. Wow! Grand larceny and postal fraud. Was Interpol ever notified?
  13. Painter’s tape. Easy to get on and off and won't damage a cover should it accidentally come into contact. It's also reusable.
  14. thanks for the report. The pictures turned out great.
  15. But it says on his sign that he does accept Paypal...
  16. Casper 1 is a tough book in grade. One of the few comics I still own.
  17. Owned by Visa. Anyone ever used them as an alternative to PayPal? Pros? Cons? Thanks
  18. Nope. PayPal will side with him. Hopefully you got postal insurance. As soon as he opens a case the funds will go on hold.
  19. I didn't like BVS so I can't imagine another cut of Justice doing any better.
  20. Looks like people want the Zach Snyder unaltered version and are petitioning Warner Brothers this week at SDCC to give them some news... https://www.wsj.com/articles/holy-directors-cut-batman-devoted-fans-demand-a-new-version-of-a-superhero-flop-1532011378?emailToken=354e7b99bef58f3bdc068c4ae4840281PaORsQCSA7XWriq8/lUtDcjd8ZkIwvhE6D9O9uoXeF4fLIre0BHIPUju6zAi1E4gAcajn1m1rtjh4SvSbPFiFmoaqRu3daIQMXidjULuB+COIEs+Q4za82Su+HsGThdDrXVkyW1j2pEZZy4KgrXaGw%3D%3D&reflink=article_copyURL_share
