  1. You have incredible taste in comics. Really one of a kind stuff.
  2. Why would they not let others who businesses are in submission and restoration pick up books on site for their clients? That is weird.
  3. I have a FedEx account. The problem is it's a crapshoot as to the actual charges you will be billed for. You never know what's going to show up on your statement and the online calculator isn't the slightest bit accurate. What I mean by this is on some packages you will be charged AHF, that is an additional handling fee if the package is over a certain size and dimension. Then there are the add fuel surcharges if you ship or receive something in a particular zip code that they deem too far out. Then they automatically charge you $10 if you request a pickup. The best advice I can give you would be to persistently call in and tell them you would like to set up monthly statements that way you aren't continually calling in and trying to get credits for them overcharging you. Believe you me I've been there and done that. FedEx became such a PITA which is why I now ship exclusively through the USPO. For all the s&*# I give them they are highly efficient.
  4. It amazes me that some people still think postal insurance is filed and collected by the buyer when in fact it is the seller who purchases or mandates insurance. Postal insurance is there to cover the seller’s loss should something happen to the package or it arrives damage while in transit. The seller refunds the buyer then the seller collects on the insurance payout (however long that may be) not the other way around.
  5. LOL, it looks like they want to play hardball as I just received this message... "I wont be refunding yo, you have insurance thru the post office in case of damage, as I said before...….The crease your showing is the same one COMPARE THE PHOTOS......EBAY PAYPAL will do the same!" Believe it or not, the package was sent poorer than they write! The cheap envelope most certainly led to the impact damage.
  6. Not a good day; received my mag in a cheap free flat rate envelope with only a Ziplock bag protecting it. Bummer....
  7. That's one fugly looking 9.0. What's going on along the bottom of the BC? It looks warped. That may be the largest Newton Ring inside a CGC holder I've ever seen.
  8. I have a NM Hustler #1 from 1974. Can I send it in for grading?
  9. Valarie Perez. Let me know when she's boarding Starship Enterprise https://www.instagram.com/thevalerieperez/?hl=en
  10. I think I've seen in her cosplay before. Name? Website?
  11. Christ, $4,150 for Bats 121 in CGC 4.5? I slabbed a 5.0 from Harley Yee a ten years ago and only paid a couple of hundred dollars for it.
  12. Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist or Shelton Drum at Hero's Aren't Hard to Find. Then again 7,000 plus back issues, if it's cr@p Shelton's not going to want it either.
  13. Very nice. So did you buy that display cabinet to take with you or do you rent it locally? That's a very nice booth setup btw.
  14. Just go through the Hot Flips’ brothers eBay store.
  15. You should also create eBay searches using the titles of all the missing books, bookmark those pages and put in the Chicago, Illinois zipcode 60007 and carefully note any book listed on eBay in that area for the next year.
  16. If Ted can get video of the incident from the security cameras it would benefit in the case of the stolen AF #15.
  17. If Ted’s books were also jacked on Sunday then we’re likely dealing with the same culprit who stole Leroy’s AF #15. Wondering if the police can get a list of attendees from Sunday, feed them into their criminal database and search for those with probation, warrants or priors pertaining to theft. I see this as a good thing though others may object that it would violate their privacy.
  18. Hey Ted were they taken on Sunday like Leroy’s? Probably the same b@stard .
  19. " Generally, when no relatives can be found, the entire estate goes to the state. " LOL. Even if I had no relatives or anyone or an organization I wanted to pass my estate onto before passing, I would at least have a specific set of instructions to have everything in my name and under my ownership burned and or destroyed before allowing the state to take ownership. That includes leveling my home and burning all my possession if so necessary. No way in firey, burning Hell I'd give the State department anything.
  20. I'll say it again that is one Hell of a nice looking 5.0.
  21. You saved $74.69 on this purchase You earned $4.98 in eBay Bucks Thanks you da man!
