If the artist is alive and you sell their art and you don't give them a huge chunk of what you made from selling it then you are a huge A-S-S-H-O-L-E

I will never understand why people get excited any comic is selling for insane huge amounts and that it is popular. I want everything I like to be hated and no one to want it so I can actual afford own stuff I want.

pulps were low trash for adults and comic books were low trash for kids and there really was no crossover or any kind of competition so neither affected the other. Pulps never really went away, they just evolved into other things by the mid 50s and that classic pulpy paper magazine was gone and replaced by just a normal magazine or newsprint magazine format. They became the men's magazines of the 50s and 60s and detective magazines that lasted until the 90s, or early 2000s even and smaller digest magazines.

The picture is too small. Could be a scratch on the cover that took off the ink

Well, I clicked onto the link and it does state that it is only an Auction Preview.
And as such, it goes on to clearly state that the "item many not have yet been properly described or vetted" and "they are continuing to add and correct information as they approach the auction posting date."
Yeah so? All their auction previews always say that and always have. Has nothing to do with cgc making a huge mistake like that.
It all makes me not trust cgc even more. Why I do not understand people that buy slabs and then keep them sealed up and never see what the comic looks like inside. I could never own something that I never have seen what the most important part of the comic looks like. If they miss huge things like a wrong back cover, what could they have missed on the insides before? Especially these promise comics that seem to be all a mess grading wise and now them not even noticing a wrong back cover on one.

Shouldn't there be some kind of rant following this list?
Why? are you mocking me and just being a d-ouche or what?

Heck, maybe the insides aren't even a Whiz #2. No way to know with it sealed up.

Don't they usually point out such things? Kind of a big thing to overlook...

I love all the books people are sharing here but I'll go with the original as well. My copy is the 1951 reprint, still happy to have it. I should scan or photograph & post all my DC Rudolphs somewhere this season as well. (My scanner can't handle the treasuries)
They are all scanned here... https://readcomiconline.li/Comic/Rudolph-the-Red-Nosed-Reindeer

I just want to take a moment and note how this young man is dressed. He's wearing dark shorts with weird striped socks and dark shoes, accentuating his pale white legs. Additionally, he's wearing a long sleeve shirt with some sort of collar to match those shorts. And his haircut is a little weird!
This is the original comic book geek. His social and fashion deficiencies would lay down the tracks for all the rest of us to follow, leading to years of social exile and poor treatment by all the other kids that were into sports and girls instead. I don't know whether to celebrate him or condemn him but either way, there he is.
chill man. He's dressed like a normal kid in the early 40s. there's nothing weird about it at all

the more date stamps and names written on them the better to me. part of the reason i love old comics is the history of each issue, who bought it, what happened to it, its individual history. but i am weird i guess, i seek out old comics that look like they were loved and used, like i love when i can tell a comic was folded up and some kid bought it, folded it up and stuck it in their back pocket and rode around on their bike with it in their back pocket, wrote their name on it so their friends didnt try and steal it.
there's raw copies of that issue on ebay right now and other marvel families for under 50 bucks, buy one of those and enjoy the great comics inside
