  1. Check out this thread in the same sub-forum as this one.
  2. Oops, I should have been more specific. I meant SA.
  3. Rich was the first facilitator I ever used - he made a total noob feel at ease with the process of sending books to, who was then, a stranger. Always super nice/honest with me, and I couldn't be happier.
  4. Bunky, I'm looking for a mid grade Silver Age Green Lantern #16, and high grade grade copy of Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery #19. Thanks for asking!
  5. According to this thread you're in luck:
  6. Congrats on this! I spent way too much time looking for a decent copy. Mine came back a hybrid label... really don't know how I missed a page being cut.
  7. What are you getting from a slab that you aren't getting from a mylar bag w/ board? I hardly use mylar because I lack a collection of rare comics and pretty much only slab Signature Series books, so I am genuinely curious. I have thought about using their "Verification service" in the past, but have never pulled the trigger. Mostly because I'm hesitant to believe verifying a signature is nowhere near as accurate as what you get with the Signature Series program.
  8. Agents of Slabs is facilitating according to this thread.
  9. I must be blind - I can't see it. (Unless it's her upper lip?) I saw him post this pre-show on Instagram, I'm glad you got!
  10. One of the most awkward episodes to watch, for me at least. This is awesome!
  11. You can always send your comics to a CGC facilitator - just for future reference. They will take it to the con, get the signatures witnessed and submit the book for you.
  12. Just to add to this, there has been (at least) one instance of being able to send in a book sold by retailers to CGC and get the Signature Series label: Valiant's Secret Weapons #1 - Valiant Validated Signature Series edition.
  13. Photo covers for all of these - most would likely be magazines. Obviously would love to get them in person. 1.) Carly Rae Jepsen 2.) Emma Watson 3.) Michelle Dockery 4.) Morgan Webb 5.) Ryan Gosling
  14. Yeah - it's the only year that I recall them having a booth.
  15. No problem! I totally understand.
  16. Are you able to get any of the Lucio Parrillo Vampirella Red Sonja Betty & Veronica #1 Green variants?
  17. Dawn has a mailing list that she will announce commissions through. I've only seen her offering pre-show commissions this year so far.
  18. I had a pretty good time near the end of the day (I only went Saturday), when I actually started getting comics signed. Picked up a sketch cover by Asia Ladowska, and got a commission for my son's room from Rachelle Rosenberg. All-in-all for my third year it wasn't bad, but I definitely had a better time last year when it felt less crowded. Spent the better part of the day trying to get in celebrity lines for the first time, and ran into so many problems that I gave up on "meeting" most of them. I think I'll stick to smaller cons on meeting non-comic people.
  19. I've never seen this, so I doubt it. I tend to just use the webform, it should get routed to the people that can give you an answer.
  20. Did anyone use the virtual line that CGC had set up at ECCC? If so, was it pretty useful for Signature Series / how did the process work?
  21. Was this part of the preshow commissions he took, or was he taking them at the show too?
  22. Check out Plutona - she drew it and Jeff Lemire wrote it. They also teamed up this year for the Black Hammer one-shot: Cthu-Louise.
  23. Not the first commission I had done, but it was my first sketch cover. Emi only had some small paper at Louisville Supercon 2018 - I think like 5"x7"? I just had her do it on the back of a Batman comic. This was the second in collection of Studio Ghibli themed sketches for my son's room: San from Princess Mononoke.
