  1. CA opened a 9.8 book for preorder with a cover by Greg Capullo, if you don't care what the book is.
  2. Yeah, again, they've sent books in for me in the (recent) past. I also don't think that list is exhaustive, because I've had other art reps send in books that aren't on there. 4C, for example.
  3. InkInk Collectibles, I've never had a problem with them in the past. And to be clear I'm not really concerned about the tape pull or the grade. I care more about the art being witnessed and being recognized on the label. If that means a Green/Yellow combo it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. (To me at least.) I'll make sure to post an update when I get some answers though.
  4. Yeah, and the same company has sent in books before for me, so I'm not sure if the paperwork was forgotten or what. It just went into Shipped today, so I'm going to contact support on Monday.
  5. CGC took their time with this one. I'm also confused why it come back a green label... I'm checking with their rep to see if something got messed up. Hopefully, it can be redone as a yellow label. Rodrigo x Fernando Yoshimiya - Huntress and Powergirl
  6. Yeah, you can do that. The label will mention that it's signed on the interior, I believe.
  7. Such a weird thing to say, this isn't a problem for any of the other actors/actresses doing the convention circuit. I guess it doesn't matter now though, with the strike being suspended.
  8. I think CGC might be doing random order processing to be honest. I've had a book stuck in Received that they got a month earlier than this one, that was sent in from a facilitator in Singapore
  9. Floyd Norman. He was, surprisingly, doing head sketches on 11"x17" paper at his table for only slightly more than the price of his signature on personal items. So I asked if he would sketch on my blank cover instead, and it wasn't a problem but he wasn't able to do my first request of Maid Marian. The person running his booth said something about lady characters requiring a bit more time to get through. I love Disney's Robin Hood though, so I'm happy to have this.
  10. This thread is from 2022, so probably not. If you're looking for a facilitator for the fall 2023 show, both Tentacle10 and Rabbit Hole Comics are listed in the online submission form drop box.
  11. Just as a heads up, Alice Cooper has done signings at comic conventions before. So, if you're sold on getting that comic signed and having it graded as a Signature Series, you could wait to see if he shows up at another con. There's no guarantee that happens though. If you don't care about waiting for signature series, just get it signed and put it in a nice mylar or something.
  12. For what I've seen and experienced, the owner of Twin Cities attends all signings that they participate in and partner with. Someone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong however. As I've stated before, you're calling out a reputable CGC Facilitator that adhere to strict guidelines when doing signings. If you see a problem with this, you should get in contact with the CGC Signature Series team if you think someone is likely to be submitting forged signatures to the Signature Series program. However, you're talking about a reputable CGC Signature Series Facilitator, someone many people on this board recommend for facilitating both creator and celebrity signatures.
  13. Not sure if you saw, but she'll be at Rhode Island Comic Con this year in November.
  14. I got a little something back in the mail today. Best I can tell, this photo cover was a Walmart exclusive in the comic bundles they sell. I originally bought this copy at my local store, but didn't know how well it would grade. Every other store I checked had copies with damage on the spine, so I left it to chance. I would have been happy with something a little lower, so I'm really shocked it came back as a 9.8
  15. If you get a signature in the future on this sketch, you'll get the Yellow/Green label I believe, with the signature that was witnessed noted on the label. That's how it works with non-witnessed signatures at least I'm not sure if they go full green label if the cover has art on it. Wasn't there a stipulation that they would only accept CGC yellow labels up to a certain point? That point being before CGC started using those sealable bags at conventions. EDIT: I looked it up and it was stated that CGC books dated _after_ 2019 will need to go through the competitor's verification program. Also, I'm not linking the other company's statement on the issue for obvious reasons.
  16. No, not exactly, but I've had something similar happen. I had a facilitator send in two signed photos under my account for me. They both came back with the correct labels, but with two completely wrong photos in them. They were supposed to be signed by some actresses, but what I got back were signed photos of Jason Momoa and Jon Bernthal.
  17. Alpha Omega Certification are listed as attending on CGC's site.
  18. I'm honestly just glad that they got authorization to do a photo cover. I love the ones I got for Robbie and Hathaway. I wish, especially with the big stars, they would do it more often. To add something relevant to the conversation, I also appreciate being able to have the books submitted under my own CGC account.
  19. You've got me interested. She's doing a few signings near the end of the year at conventions, and I've heard rumblings of some boardies getting books signed and graded. So, I guess we'll see in a few months.
  20. It's something I've seen a few voice actors do for sure, and the only comic creator I've seen do this is Eric Basaldua. Can't say that I have any personally, but I am interested to see what's out there and who makes this a common practice.
  21. @postersandstuff I've mentioned this before. Galaxycon openly works with a (very) reputable CGC facilitator. Calling Galaxycon out selling fakes is cause for concern not only for their large list of send-ins but also the ethics of the CGC facilitator they work with. Would you care to enlighten us on why you feel this way? Personally, I've had no issue with Galaxycon as a send in service, the convention itself, or the CGC facilitator they use. So, I'm very interested to see why you'd call them out like this on more than one occasion.
  22. You may want to contact both, if not only for the fact that last year at Cincinnati Comic Expo, CSA would not let me submit books under my own account, and the up-charge for books on their account was very high. (Like, higher than you would normally expect when using a facilitator's account.) I've had great experiences with CSA pretty much every other time I've dealt with them though, so your mileage may vary. It doesn't ever hurt to get multiple quotes.
  23. New magazine holders means I finally got some celeb books back. Hailee Steinfeld Bonnie Wright
  24. Some sketch covers I've gotten back within the last few months. Tristan Thompson - Anna from Frozen Dave Aikins - M.E.W Huntress Omar Dogan - Karin Kanzuki from Street Fighter Super lucky to have gotten one of his sketch covers, since he doesn't take commissions, unless he releases a batch of sketch cards. Greg Land - DC Bombshells Huntress
  25. I was perplexed at first too, but I'm pretty sure it means "Signed through the mail."
