  1. CGC's Website says that they will be at the Expo, which means they will have a booth. Whether any facilitators will be there though... I'm not sure.
  2. AH ok! I've heard from facilitators that CGC will ship them to you if you called in the past, but when I tried CGC said they would send me some and I never received them. It has been awhile since this incident however. Good to know. Would be nice to have some to save time in the CGC line at cons though.
  3. Signature Series has a specific form that you can't get online. You would have to have the form filled out during the show. Side note: you can contact CGC and get Signature Series forms shipped to you apparently.
  4. I do love the Frison cover a ton, but I know it's going to go out of my price range. There's a few others I could see myself bidding on when the time comes; I only watched the first season or so of Adventure Time so I'm not crazy about them.
  5. When you click on the name of the comic in the registry set it gives you a handy chart with all of the potential scores for every grade/variation of slab. The scores of books do adjust: here is a link to the registry forum post about how they are scored.
  6. I had been waiting for Isola since it was announced sometime around the Image at 25 Humble Bundle. Where they included a signed letter pressed print. I've really enjoyed the first two issues, and even bought the C2E2 variant so that I could read it a week or two before the official release.
  7. No, to my understanding you can submit directly at any show that CGC is in attendance without a membership. As someone who mainly submits with the SS program, getting a membership is still worth it because of the credit. I already know I'm going to spend that amount on grading at one show a year, so I might as well invest in the premium membership. Even at the associate level ($25 as of this year) the benefits are nice just to get access to tracking your books and graders notes.
  8. I always felt like making a "STAN LEE SIGNING MEGA THREAD," but felt conflicted as if it would be ignored. Much like all of the past Stan Lee posts filled with the same information...
  9. If it's any help - after reading the first issue I thought it was "just OK." I've never been a huge Kirkman fan outside of TWD though. I'll probably just wait until the trade comes out though.
  10. I'll give a +1 here as well. The cloud sync among multiple devices is such a nice feature. I started using it on my Mac and now I primarily use it on my Android phone. One thing to keep in mind is that the company changed the mobile purchase model about a year ago to where if you spend $15 on the app you can get an unlimited collection size, but you can also spend less than that if you don't have a huge collection that you want to track.
  11. This couldn't be more true. I assure you that I'm not making money off of the Batgirl and Birds of Prey issues that were signed saying "Thanks Austin, You rock!" I got them graded because I like the slab.
  12. I was actually just commenting about how I saw the photo of his booth from that convention over in the Event board, but didn't reply fast enough. The prices hurt my eyes... a lot. $150 for a graded modern comic is pretty dang high. I've met him a few times, and while I've never had any bad experiences with him, or his wife for that matter, I've always been kind of curious how they equate his body of work to the prices that he charges. I get that he co-created the Walking Dead that's cool and all, but most of the books he's worked on he's only been on for a handful of issues here and there. Am I missing something?
  13. $125 per issue? That seems a little high from what I've seen... On his website it's always stated he charges $20 per Walking Dead single issue issue and $20 if the issue was to be graded. When I saw him last in Cincinnati, at the con he co-created, the fees were in line with what his website lists. (That was 2 years ago though, so he could have changed stuff up a bit without changing his site.) To me, it just depends on the issue, condition of the comic and what you've already invested in the book. If I think something is too much, or not worth it I won't pay for it.
  14. He's selling a 9.9 for the same price. Looks like a steal to me.
  15. The slab would be displayed like normal - front cover in front, back cover in back. In your case specifically it would be noted on the label: "Signed by Trish Stratus on back cover on <date of signature>"
  16. Will Jock have a CGC signature fee? I didn't see anything posted about it on your Facebook post, and figured I would ask. Thanks!
  17. He's lined up to be at Megacon Tampa this weekend - could that have been the guest list you saw him on?
  18. Was a huge fan of issue #12 when Latour wrote for the series before, so I was a huge fan of this issue. I'm also loving the lineup of variant artists they've had for this arc.
  19. I was raised down in the Southeastern part of the state, but moved up to Indianapolis for school and stayed for work. I miss it a lot - mostly because I miss my old comic store.
  20. I remember buying it when it came out because I was subscribed from when Amanda Conner was originally the artist, and can't really say I remember this issue besides it being the final issue. Any particular reason this book is heating up? Cover image I take it?
