  1. Anyway Sweet book I had a chance at Fan Expo Dallas and missed it $60 for a head sketch wouldn't of been that bad had I thought about it when I got his auto the first day of the con. I didn't think to ask, so I tried on Sunday haha was worth a shot....
  2. I see what your saying Just curious, but when did you get that graded? I know that it is an all white cover but newton rings shouldn't be that bad....
  3. AH reread it! first Legacy then a pick up of numbering...
  4. Question: it wasn't clear to me so they're leaving the other books to run their course but taking up with Legacy where the originals left off, right? or something to that effect..? Nice that they'll bring back the corner box, sounds corney but it'll definitely seem different and hopefully nostalgia will kick in
  5. Maybe they should have gotten a tatoo That was the first time I'd ever seen that was at the last Fan Expo Dallas, two rows of tatoo artists and bare legs and backs of people going ow ow ow ow ouch
  6. In his personal life, if you think it has anything to do with it:
  7. I can't read all of it I see that it says "Hulk Smash" and "Spiderman--something something.... has anyone caught a close up of the label to see what it's supposed to read?
  8. Awesome I'm lost on some of the older yet iconic artist's and how they'd promote. I've seen stories of George Perez and he seems a decent person, who is quick to be personable. Perhaps you could add the name Denise to the google search....if you haven't already.... I personally don't have knowledge but it is curious, I wonder who it says Denise was? if in fact the book(s?) were personalized could have been a conbook that was sold and and signed at the same time
  9. Not sure myself, but that looks interesting !! I wonder if it was an exclusive to be so limited? idk what kind of marketing they had back then though....
  10. That's some heavy duty staples the most that I had seen was 4, huh, speaking of weirdness http://www.dacardworld.com/comic-books/giant-size-spider-man-4-cgc-9-2-w-double-cover-restored-1362297002 I assume this listing is manufactured and not the way that it came off the press....
  11. If you had it CGC'd I doubt that it would be noted on the label. Idk if that is anything someone would want btw, just saying imo it would be hard to keep nice throughout the years and hard to show if in a CGC case.....
  12. My LCS has stated several times to potential sellers, this isn't Wells Fargo or we already have too much of that in stock..... Other's who have some nice things mixed in with drek (so to speak) are just as ornery....I wonder sometimes if people such as these don't research either though. On the off chance I can get an answer (as it may vary) what percentage of retail does one offer these sellers if they do have something you want? or is there a standard? 40-60% depending on what they'll take? or does it depend on what the buyer will potentially do with it? cost of slab, ebay--shipping/fees, etc. Back to the topic at hand, if it's worth it, my response would be: "What you have is nice! but wouldn't sell fast enough for me to make it worth it." idk just a shot in the dark...
  13. How much $$ are we talking would result in you having to report income from internet sales? Do you have to have say an Ebay Store? A business or such? Does someone who has none of that or joeblow have to pay taxes on internet sales?? FYI this may be common knowledge but as I haven't ever sold via the internet, I'm at a loss...
  14. For a couple of dollars I got those: "True Believers" Giant Size Xmen #1 and Xmen #1 Reprints, I read them! Overall well thought out, it was nice to read them for the first time back to back and see a kind of progression,
  15. The Pressing company that CGC works with
  16. Nice were any of the SS Jim Lee? still waiting on mine.... anyway, Awesome hopefully the rest of us can be looking
  17. I tend to dislike seller's who don't leave feedback at all, I don't get mad, but I think that it is weird that most people that do a lot of business on ebay are more likely to leave feedback. While those sellers who do great, but only sell once in a while don't bother. I always leave feedback regardless most always positive have only a few problems on ebay as a buyer, yet it's not worth reminding the seller. idk why and could be wrong.
  18. So happy for you!! that makes me happy that people are glad with the grades to day! you and @kevhtx
  19. want it now do ya? I'm just kidding around, it's a shame they haven't started on the Jim Lee SS from Wonder Con, I have some of those SS from Fan Expo Dallas from the same weekend that I'm waiting on--sigh----4-6 weeks still sound about right? Wonder Con and Fan Expo were April 1st weekend.....idk I expect first of next month...
  20. Snap-- ---- I might consider that if I had that many boxes for me are good for now, but I like you style to at least be able to flip through and lookat/enjoy every once in a while
  21. SNAP--- I wouldn't of thought light finger prints and finger bends would count as much off as small multiple stain......
