  1. Stands to further clarify that it won't show up in the verification tool as an actual working cert number until the submission is shipped, but if someone was having problems with links on a phone, the Verify Certification Tool under Resources on cgccomics.com would still work if you manually type in the Cert Number, which is the submission number plus the last three numbers to be added that is the corresponding book in the order ie 001 for the first book 002 for the second and so on. Added on to the end of the submission number.
  2. On your submission page click on the line item number on the left. It’ll take you to the page for that slab. I had trouble getting it to work on my phone so you may need to be on a iPad or desktop. To further Clarify, you HAVE THE SERIALNUMBER THE MOMENT CGC RECEIVES A BOOK It is the submission # + 001 or 002 or 003 if you have a 3 book submission, and so on up to the 25 book subs which would be= submission # + 025 as the last three numbers when it ships then you can see that the cert number is in the system, to see the scans that CGC now provides AND YOU CAN CLICK THE LINK AS MENTIONED OR: You can manually type the numbers into the CGC Verification Tool under Resources on the home page of cgccomics.com
  3. @onlyweaknesskryptonite I hope you are well!
  4. Feel like tagging only weakness kryptonite but hopefully he is doing well! It probably wouldn't be good manners to tag out of the Blue with...
  5. Looks as though I started off the thread, so here are more "common" books
  6. For ones I have at least two of, a few of them anyway: slabs and under copy readers
  7. For ones I have at least two of, a few of them anyway: Newsstand and direct!
  8. Difference is that even on your "digest books?" You've still hit 9,8 on most. I, unfortunately, cannot say the same.
  9. That's saying a lot that only similar experiences can attest!! The only real test and reasoning is at least we don't try to sell them Eventually but a good excuse as any for now haha
  10. Me as well, can remember the gel like consistency with the dough. We still have those apple pie types of those at a nearby fast food, but tmnt was still unique, it was basically like eating an over filled doughnut.
  11. I think the LCS's bargain slab bin is cool, but it keeps me from saving up to something "meaningful." It's nice to be able to bargain shop, but the grades in those bins probably only satisfy me not a bad $48

  13. Wether it’s the same person or not I agree with @Microchip in having no problem with someone getting a good idea of what the fair market value of a rare niche book would be, especially with Aliens reprints. This is in all honesty the best thread on the internet to ask said question. But I just don’t see a collector paying first print prices for a second print. I am definitely less than a handful of people that pay quite a bit more for these books. These are for my PC and my PC only. I didn’t invest into Dark Horse books for the potential resale. @Izlo If you’re the owner of the lone 9.8 copy I’ll give you $800 for the book. Send me a PM if you want to do business. Amen! I said the same as microchip. Except I said the seller might be optimistic, which no harm in that, but wanted to to point out the frame of mind at the time. Perhaps now has been enough time that whomever has had offers and a realistic vision is in place, which I think $800 is fair. No harm no foul!
  14. There were more posts that understood than not, I can say myself "say", having never been a stickler for 9,8, "that" unfortunately that has caused me to have books come back even lower than 9,6 So bare that in mind. 9.0 8.5 9.4
  15. People have the spirit of the thread. Most copper and older even in 9.6 are "worth it" or at least more than the cost to slab; therefore, "if it isn't worth it in 9,6, it is meaningless!" I think that is plain enough.
  16. Lol You have until Oct 17th, so plenty of time , but @AbsoluteCarnage want to take the top spot alphabetically in the entering of Mooooooooooorrrtal GRAAAA!AAADDDING Kombat!!!!!!!
