  1. I recognize the sticker, was this in Dallas? Sorry that happened. I went to a toy show this morning and almost had the same happen to me, but I asked the dealer at risk, but to double check, and sure enough, facsimiles
  2. I bought a 2nd print of that at half price books, I haven't read it yet, but often wondered who was like minded to buy it. Well recently anyway
  3. Talked for 45 minutes and we didnt understand a word he said! But we had fun playing with the pencils and filling out the forms! ~ Alice's Restaurant 45 minutes to go!
  4. It was May 7th if you want to check 130point.com Although it doesn't say best offer so I'd assume $3,500 as that's what it shows
  5. I think it is because he was logged in when he made the link.
  6. I'm just saying at least we know what was sketched and by whom Two lightning bolts or two of the same anything didn't get lost in the jumble, even Stan can draw a lightning bolt!
  7. The label reads it out nice, and I agree super cool. I'm used to cgc singling out the signed and sketched out, followed by sketchers. I was on my phone, but looks like signed and sketched by, list of names, and then the date, which is all encompassing! I have one like that, that I probably won't add to, as it's a Campbell and Eastman, and I'm not sure if the label would get confused with the separate art. Campbell did a pizza slice, and Eastman drew a TMNT holding it. Both artists used different colors, which is helpful. You've done this more often than I... So I said all that to say good eye!
  8. well it is a "year later" according to the post and the question of "they're for less?" or am I missing something? I didn't click on the links, but just assumed the "down market"
  9. Just Right now, that thread is taking the vissalage of comiclink for now, and they don't need to post it here too. Maybe you read it, benefit of the doubt, but they have their own emergency that I'm sure we will hear more about in coming days. The alarming part for this thread? That thread said it is a common occurrence with outdated server software and etc. All that said, proceed with caution
  10. Mycomicshop will list on ebay for you too, and with their consignment fee you can list the price you want er think will sell and between the venues of mycomicshop's handle when they list on their site and ebay. I didn't think anything bad with comic link, but I did post the 7 or 8 page thread that is currently in comics general. I encourage you to read, but I'll try to summarize but wish you had read. Their current auctions are doing lousy because their site has either been hacked, or otherwise down for two days in the middle of auctions, . Without reading that thread you sound odd by asking what is wrong when right now it is very obvious that currently they're having a possible auction loss and breach of data, while the site is down and no one bidding losing sales. Also with no communication to the outside via emails of phone though people have reached out, which people are saying in the thread is typical. Again there was a reason I gave you the link, but cest LA vie, just there may be more "CURRENTLY " THAT I MISSED.
  11. It IS! Oh and I edited to fix the spelling errors
  12. Isn't that the one where you asked our opinion what it should be? I almost thought you were to go with Mary Jane It's nice that the Rubinstein sig is in color too! I assume that is because he colored it? That looks extra sweet! From the purple fade in the cowl to the yellowish green eyes with crazy smile and teeth! I've not known Joe to go all out like that... and idk that maybe looks similar to covers I thought were cool... Maybe they WERE Rubinstein and I didn't know...
  13. Yes. That’s exactly correct. I sold an item for $1,500 USD, at which point eBay paid themselves 13% of the sale. So the buyer paid, eBay took their fee, and the remainder of the total, now sits in hold for 30 days after payment of the buyer. In the past, to avoid the hold, I’d have to send with tracking (which I always did) but now with signature confirmation (which I would do for anything over 1,000), and eBay added a stipulation that, if positive feedback was also received, then they could approve a ‘next day’ fund transfer. But due to the ‘high priced’ value of this item (I have sold items for higher values before, even in the same annual quarter), they have decided to hold the payment, regardless, for 30 full days. I suspect eBay is holding funds under the shadow of their 30 day eBay guarantee for buyers to open a dispute, even after giving positive feedback, they can’t justify sending me the buyer’s funds. Even though, I’ve had my eBay account for 8 years, my score is 434, with zero negative feedback, ever. I’m also not a high volume seller. I sell maybe $10k-$20k a year. I probably buy maybe $10k a year Expand Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on here as this is not how my eBay funds are handled. Example: I sold an item on eBay for $2200; buyer paid July 27th, eBay sent my Net funds to my bank account July 29th, and the item was delivered on July 31st. This has been my experience since eBay changed to handling the payments themselves; I routinely receive my funds before the item has been delivered (let alone received any feedback). I know there are various settings to determine how often you are paid (I believe mine is daily), but holding for 30 days does not make sense. From the above it appears you have had this situation happen before, so it seems something is up with your account. Did they send you a message in this particular case identifying the reason for the hold? I wasn't going to chime in, but either one wouldn't surprise me. I hardly sell on ebay, but once or twice every 6 months to a year.... At first this year it happened over night, the payout, then 3 to 6 months later I had to wait until delivered and call ebay to show delivered pointing out the tracking. Then next day or so, a payout.
