  1. If you already sent in a 9.8 for robs sig then leave the Stan and label alone. As mentioned you wouldn't ever get that one back, and you've sweated enough on the 9.8 remaining 9.8. I admire the pluck!
  2. I believe it was right click or hold down, however you do it to open a "new tab" , with the picture only, then somehow that new tab being downloaded. Idk if it's easier, but maybe screenshot and cropping is less scientific but would work, kind of takes the fun out of it
  3. Yes, definitely Buck Rogers on the figures. I don't recognize those pieces as belonging to the line, though, unless they came off of a vehicle. Kinda look Micronauts-ish to me? Could be totally wrong about that. I'm just glad I recognized them too. I barely know that much of Buck, except reruns and the cartoon reference They've had pawn star mentions, including some on comic book men, but it is usually the, ahem, doll or cloth specifically...
  4. Ya that I'm not sure. I had cgc moderns and mags that came back early June that neither had them, so I'm thinking mid June , as it was mentioned right after I received them back and nothing. Hope that helps
  5. It has been true for the many that have posted about it, I have yet to see it happen to magazines though, but it looks to be true and may have happened to help with quality control, imo, as a few have already been posted that were caught to be fixed before they went out the door. Bit of a looooong sentence
  6. Ya there is currently a white variation on eBay, but they want too much, if it was the gold variation with it, I'd buy buy both for the $400 sale price. Normally they'd get $400 for just the one, and they might be losing money at that. It's just this down market etc. It is the white and color, and I want to say there is even a third that is all white to find the distorted, but as for a "base set" I have completed well enough I think.
  7. well... hardly any of mine are 9.8 either, but I did get "fair prices for all". I'll admit the "Cable Holo" has a corner of green but the "blue only" covered more than 75% and that it was one according to cgc. At least all mine are in the NM Near Mint range, so I'm grateful
  8. ok I'll play nice but @Poutine You're not supposed to post competitors slabs just an fyi unless you crop out the label, or something like that
  9. I finally completed the "distorted holograms", except for the X-men #25 white and gold variants, last year. I've since noticed a drop in sales. I keep track enough to see if I over paid Some things like that I agree are a niche well within other niches, but are "unique" enough as you put it. Sometimes we need goals completed to continue getting the thrill of the hunt. For me sometimes it isn't so much that I believe "in the product" but it does bring some satisfaction, enough toward somewhat of a premium. Again some will be here today and gone tomorrow, as far as niches, I'm sure. idk
  10. Blast from the past! Nicely done.
  11. Just for my own benefit since the CGC scan shows it crooked, does that entail a fix to that scan? Or not something to worry about? Surely not from a selling or market stand point, but may be worth bringing up? Cause of the brand publicly and etc? Idk just curious if any thoughts on the matter.
  12. Tbh it hit me the other day that is why they started doing scans for every regular comic, which this is proof of the pudding, for quality control. I'm not sure if they're scanning magazine slabs, or none of mine last month had them,
