  1. Call from dad today, he had no idea that I was to see his favorite childhood comic in movie form today! I'll report back to him after prescreen tonight. Lots of peace going in, and hoping for the time we'll spent.
  2. That whole run looks nice together! Like side by side they seem to fit that knit of era. Not even complaint, just complete nostalgia form. Nice pick up 😉
  3. The colors on that are bright represented clearly! Nice scan and congrats on the pick up.
  4. Is that at all similar to astro boy? I vaguely remember a cartoon
  5. Ok hear goes.... The thumbnail isn't blurry on my phone, screenshot of the old pic. The uploaded new pic is uploaded, which the blurry thumbnails were on my laptop, but I'm off to a prescreen so not sure I'll be able to check the new pic there until later. Hopefully you're following on your end the progression. I'm not sure if it matters, as when I click it isn't blurry and if I'm considered for awards it wouldn't be held against me? Any feedback is appreciated 👍 @wytshus
  6. What threw me off is they were perfectly fine and then became distorted years later after being fine for years 😂 @wytshusif I have to retake pics, as I deleted as soon as uploading not needing them but for the registry, that will blow my mind grapes....
  7. Indeed! Thanks for the summary, I wasn't sure if I was clear Sweet underdog collection btw, I'm in awe.
  8. Same! I don’t want to spam the forum Sorry Guys I thought I was in bronze, apologies for making it seem I wasn't listening, more excited to see the memories So here is some "copper age", I forget what fanzine this was from, but it is some scrapping pages from when I was a kid and a poster that I taped to cardboard to give my brother on a birthday. He was 6 to 7 years younger and I didn't want it torn, all survived unto today
  9. THIS WAS SO EPIC! THE OOHS, THE AHHS, THE LAUGHS. some of it imo I had to close my eyes for, frame by frame, it was good 👍 Audience for the prescreen cheered an hooplahed! Unfortunately no merch, and they held our phones until afterwards, Shazam tomorrow then next day dungeons and dragons ...
  10. "new" posts! To the soundtrack of "He-Man!" I've been lax yet I'm excited to continue see stuff I haven't ever. Bronze would be my focus for now.
  11. Did you put the packing slip in the box? I had one time where the private signing cards didn't print out correctly and I just sent in the packing slip with the books. I was able to contact the signature series team and they were able to print out the cards and attach them to the books when they got them. So, recommendation would be to contact the signature series team and give them your submission # and tracking number and let them know what happened. You can email them directly @ signatureseries@cgccomics.com. I have found them to be very helpful and easy to work with when there are issues or mistakes made. Believe it or not, Ripley, I would be pretty confident in the CGC character to want to fulfill it, (not just money if you can believe that ) I'm sure they care, enough when not wanting to ship it back. If you didn't get an email to then be at peace. They really have a full day, yours ours are one of many
  12. Ah peace then 🕊️ it's been a hard day's night, and they been working like a dog 🐕🙂
  13. I'm not up on tracking, so thanks for the info, I'm sure they're still in the que somehow. Same box shipment I assume? Perhaps they weren't happy with the bag and board? Or any number of signing order idk. Just food for thought, my friend. I'm glad you're cheerful, as anticipation will build the excitement, you live to sub another day!
  14. a bit more rambler but to be specific, your: Vengeance #1's, Venom #7 & #9's, a bit of Ms Marvel and etc
  15. I feel that I'm looking at most moderns, which I admit I got before it was "too late", were looking on the market at just a tad below what I purchased. Add the tax I had to pay on top of that and there you have my dilemma. Indeed those are the breaks with a free market, and no bother, it will always be there, what someone is willing to pay. I had faith when I purchased, it's the best I can do if I'm honest. I appreciate the stories making buzz, and the moderns were neglected by me for a long time, I'm satisfied with the one's I picked up and plenty out there in the BINS!!
  16. it could be the era of what is in the locale, I know here in Dallas I find a lot of 7.5's
  17. Only one I have at this point, from when I was a kid, hung onto it a long time.
