  1. it might help you see the difference between "water stain" and mold
  2. I feel your pain, the most I have ever paid for a slabbed comic, and while the back cover is worse, idk early on to avoid foxing and I'm not sure if it is the same as "mold" per se. Bought it from a reputable dealer for a pretty penny at the time, and this is the comic that I paid double I ever had even now.... it is mostly on the back cover and idk Grader Notes: crease left center of front cover; foxing full left of back cover; foxing right bottom of back cover; foxing spine. Then there is this that I got raw for $30 and cost to grade, I kept it as a study for the above expensive one, I think or I still own it Grader Notes: color lift front cover; heavy rusted staples to cover; large water stain full right of front cover; large, heavy water stain full left of back cover; light bends to cover; moderate color lift left top of back cover; moderate spine stress lines to cover; moisture damage whole book; small tear with crease top of front cover; spine roll.
  3. @jimhouston1 has some complete sets, I especially enjoy his batman #1-100 as it has pics and well done descriptions! https://comics.www.collectors-society.com/PublicUserHome.aspx?PeopleID=75437 The #1-100 set https://comics.www.collectors-society.com/registry/comics/PeopleSetDetail.aspx?PeopleSetID=144133
  4. +1 really well done, took some time and effort Just wanted to add but not show an edit... That he also took the time for uniform custom labels across the collection, like I said time and effort!

  6. Oh wow, I didn't realize? The 4 books were basically $10 a piece? Nice find on the poster book! Being in a metroplex, I haven't found Dave Stevens in the $1-10 bins since like 2017, which I've definitely not seen them in the wild but maybe didn't look at prices at the LCS when they were there... etc. Awesome that you got out and successfully navigated, it is so hot here with AC running constantly, I'm counting my blessings as well
  7. That does seem different from the last one, or somehow I had forgotten it 😂
  8. Where you quoted me wasn't so much in relative this thread but more just a song stuck in my head.
  9. Well I don't know why I came here tonight I got the feeling that something aint right I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs.
  10. It's only gone up 1k since it was last posted, which has been a while but not might be this thread 😞
  11. Indeed I touched up mine as well. Last minute adds, corrections and swapping reductions To that end I had some slabs lined up but haven't got them situated until tomorrow or perhaps Monday at the latest Lord willing.
  12. Welcome! A Lot of Knowledge Here, I Hope Interacting Will Be Enjoyable. Congrats on all the runs!
  13. I too know of someone with a reholder situation, I want to say theirs was sfg since like 5/16 or 5/17.... they responded to him that there is a major backup in that tier, but idk that they went into detail or why the glut is in that tier. You're not alone
  14. Mine was too long winded but one mind one accord
  15. Just use Microsoft office lense or google lense as an app found in your Play store on any device? You'll be able to take the picture and then it will bring up the pic for you to crop where you want the border. I do it perpendicular and flat against a surface taking the pic, then crop and save, all at one time takes thirty seconds. You can take a picture at an angle then crop a normal rectangle or whatever dimensions, and then it will format it, just if at an angle it might not format to an angle from a angle to a rectangle clear enough. I'm going into too much detail here, but get one of those apps and try? As oppose to just taking a pic with your phone and cropping and saving, which would work but not have all the options mentioned @Math Teacher
  16. your prerogative. been there too to the point @trademarkcomics and more clarity, is that the designation, I think, has always been there, but is so quick it doesn't often get noticed. I realize I hadn't made that clear, but if it is taking a minute where even if not "always refreshing?" That you're able to still notice it then, "more thorough" yadda yadda haha
  17. Great movement on the hulk though, very nice! "with apologies to trimpe!" awesome!
  18. That's because depending on the amount of books it probably takes all of ten minutes to run the info to double check one last time, 🤠 but it's always been there, and to your point since it is still like that or taking a minute maybe now they're being more thorough
  19. Lol I didn't go into depth but I agree it must be bogus. Back when back in, 2016 there were a lot of china and Russia listings, so now maybe they've got wise and just made it a 0 feedback listing, which the other countries were too, but this one without a weird origin. I hadn't clicked on the 130point eBay listing for it to bring me to ebay, so that's my bad 😞
  20. probably that will fix it as the listing doesn't say "incredible" even though it IS
  21. I took it today, typed in "hulk 181 Stan Lee signed cgc" @wiparker824 happened June 11th
