  1. It's all relative and at the same time imaginative, but the reality of writers and etc I would respect, it depends on what "I" would consider the "source." It's nice to maybe make nonsense sound poetic, but in the end, we decide for ourselves a lot of things about comics through personal experiences. It causes me to like issues and not like others, but mostly I freely think that with comics nothing is set in stone. Cause If it "was" there would be nothing considered "new!" Some may after a while, come to that conclusion themselves. Still, having an appreciation for individual thoughts, makes it seem focused and new, but big picture probably not.
  2. Oh snap I was just about to say, due to mail and hiccups, then they'd be lenient. I was guessing, but it sounds like that is EXACTLY what happened. If it would ease your mind or if you want to do all you can? I'd call, if not long distance, otherwise send in the email, the tracking number and explain just as you did; sounds reasonable, and I'm sure they'd rather get it signed than send it back etc. Especially the mail send date, and the paod chipping, whether priority mail. You did all you could! They'll understand @Eddie Brock
  3. I've been reassured several times that it would check in, so hang in there, but yes, it feels unsettling I agree.
  4. They have, will they still? Probably. A day late even on this following day, even though it was the weekend, it's not "that late!"
  5. Haven't watched it in along time, but I do remember, they let that lady have it!
  6. This might have been my best attempt ever! I don't know If that is a reflection on me, the books, or everyone else. So kudos to er'body and thanks @CGC Mike
  7. I actually heard there is to be another history of the world fim btw
  8. I want to say in 2017 possibly 18, Campbell was at the big con near me. The year before I had got some Stan Lee ss at the con, that was 2016, so this must have been 2017 for Campbell. Story short to say that they were all very polite and not at all condescending, so I wouldn't be surprised that he honored an ink request. So kudos to your books, and the whole experience! It's nice to "be able" and give credit when not only done correctly but as a request as well!
  9. I forget if I requested on McFarlane ink, but would be good info to know that Campbell honored requests?
  10. These are sweet! I have a story but I'll spare you! Good stuff! Curious if you requested blue ink ? Looks "negatively" enough for the cover to be POSITIVE. Congrats!
  11. Ftfy some heroes don't wear capes! I had some aunt of mine tell me just last Thursday that Christopher Reeves was the best superman. She said it unprovoked and I think she meant, that she like him the best, but more importantly I think the last shes seen was a modern telling of Zod. If I'm not remembering that last part correctly forgive me, as I haven't seen one since Superman returns, I think.
  12. That IS impressive, a bit wider than normal? I guess there isn't a standard to posters, but that red on black is nice, kind of similar to a Sin City poster.
  13. Basically no one needs to be told how to give. Give cheerfully of what you can, and you won't be disappointed, that's how Christmas goes and I hope the boards holidays are ok with that motto. Holiday exchange is universal, that hopefully means accepting what you're able. That can be different from year to year, and it really could be carried to day to day. I've been blessed this year, otherwise I know my limits and may not have signed up, as I haven't since 2019
  14. I feel you, although in the 1st post, it says, "make it worth the shipping, at least $15 worth of stuff!" While your "facts are straight", it is Christmas on the boards and plenty seem excited. I only add that last part, lest anyone joins and thinks that way, cause I'm sure Santa brings reprints as well as slabs Silver Bells, Silver Bells
  15. It's appreciated! I'll be sure to Light it up if ever it does get to received, so it'll work out. No need to spin my wheels. I know they're swamped, and to know we're not alone. The McFarlane checked in!
  16. Some "results" are toward the end of the thread, I tried to link it that way but not sure if I was successful.
