Is this a hard book to find?? The Addam's Family #2
ADAMANTIUM replied to Kazombie's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
Just as a point of interest. I did get a prescreen pass to see the 1st episode of Wednesday, next ironically Wednesday 😂 I've been trying to keep up with the amazing race, but I think I'll go see Wednesday! -
Where in the world was the Quality Control at CGC???

It's only the seal of the inner well, it's on a lot of slabs, some more noticable than others. No tampering, I'm sure. -
What causes this weird seal mark on cgc slab
ADAMANTIUM replied to TomDehnert's topic in Comics General
I'm pretty sure it's on most slabs when they seal the inner well that holds the comic. I wouldn't assume tampering. Some are messier than others maybe, there was an inner well that didn't use the seal, then I don't recall. There are slabs that don't have an inner well at all, but that started about 2016 and is when we first started the "really bad" Newton rings. The old r slabs had rings too but were much easier to get rid of. -
Enjoy!

That's back where I can imagine the newsstands buyers were actually wearing suits Just the mind set? Or of who mostly wears suits today? Idk just makes me think who originally purchased and their reasoning for picking it up off the rack. Could be because my dad was born in 1940, had ink wells for pens at school and is still alive. Good times. Still cool books, of an era gone by

I knew nothing of eternals other than reading issue #3, I thought it was decent, just a comic movie. I enjoyed it, I'm guessing for what it was as well. I can tell the difference between a marvel lense on the camera and DC, and eternals was the closest to same type of recording. I'm not sure if it's they use different cgi people or the director? But I meant the camera lense literally like it is shot with something different. Could just be me I tend to forget both marvel and DC movies over time anyway, so idk about replay value. 12 minutes later an edit to say, ENJOY!!

To that point I saw it in 2d but looking back there were definitely spots that were looking like they had the 3d effect portrayed, had the viewing I chose been the 3d version. Like 3d action that was in 2d, but obviously was put in the movie to be viewed in 3d. I haven't checked to see if locally 3d offerings were available.

Post your Garage Sale/Flea Market/Antique Mall Finds Here
ADAMANTIUM replied to Shark's topic in Comics General
Against my better judgement I'm trying this again. Once upon a time I bought one, but it came back only 8.5. I'm not sure if it's the white cover making it hard, but at $10, idk, it may have been better to buy a slab 9.6 for $40 haha -
do these count??
