  1. That makes more "sense" and is appreciated 👍. I figured it had to do with transactions somehow, if it's an over reach I'm sure it will get ironed out if important enough. idk know how exactly it would have been implemented if not for a transaction somehow, as well. I wonder if PayPal themselves were having to deal with litigation due to transactions. I don't see how PayPal would have been at fault, and if a moral stance it's one thing but was probably a money thing at some point for them. I'm guessing. Neither here nor there at this point, as it isn't finalized, but at least it's pulled.
  2. Maybe I'm missing the point. Miss information about what? Using PayPal transactions is what I assumed, as it's the closest they could be an authority over, but if it's just in general? As in reportable because people have their freedom to speak "freely?" That is what I'm now realizing this thread is about but Well I'll be! Bless their heart ❤️
  3. I too hear it mentioned with fondness, but probably not with that much detail Still responsible for one of the most quoted codes in the biz. I too beat it only because of that code, but as for ps2 I was more into mega man X. I wish I knew there were contra for handheld, as that seems fun, but I bowed out early on gaming. Still I argue preordering and getting games as they came out was not as easy back then. I remember little slips of paper mentioning stuff in the 90s but that's about it. Edit let alone comics but idk
  4. I loved the nes and snes versions as a kid, idk if there were ones after that, but I own versions of them now that is hard to get through the 1st couple of levels. I think I had more patience for it long ago I die now a couple of times and I quit. I remember being excited too about street fighter comics, so I understand the feeling
  5. I still own my copy, I think... But if this is the first one sold, its an interesting starting point Only one I've noticed
  6. I'm not sure why any artist would want to resemble Liefeld's "art", but Different Strokes for Different Folks I guess... a bit like the 6 million dollar man, because we have the technology? Still, I'm not buying it, but can see the "difference." Due to the original comment and a quick look, I had thought, whew, Liefeld is taking the time to get "better!"
  7. Is it still a rendition of a Liefeld cover? Or did this artist start from scratch? Interesting take, not too shabby.
  8. I think what really threw me off was that Colossus is bald, at first I thought that was Iceman, but that is more upper right and in the background. Still not a bad showing
  9. Still doesn't necessarily look bad! Better, definitely, hopefully there is more
  10. They only mentioned it on celebrity jeopardy, so I'm not sure what platform. I have Netflix but that's it, hopeful though. There have been a few I've wanted to but habe missed now, and I will eventually forget about Namely the one I still remember because of Facebook is Beavis and b head.
  11. Mel brooks is still alive and just wrapped up production of history of the world part 2
  12. It IS striking, nice centering as usual! Glad you got it back.
  13. I actually heard the ice cream man go down the street too. 🤣 I thought somehow that was done away with . Except the one that rides a bike and rings a bell, but this was a full on truck!
  14. ah man, you can't read the numbers 197070 for those inclined I feel like that vehicle in how I met your mother, the tv show. Breaking in on 200,000
  15. East bound and down, loaded up and trucking, we going to do what they say can't be done 👍
  16. Well now that I've picked it up and signed for it, I probably shouldn't bring it back down there, or it wouldn't work anyway if I tried. I left it unopen with all the markings on it in the comic room, I'm just disgusted. Tracking, as far as it got, showed it cleared USA customs three to four times, but it never left Chicago for Australia. This was the last package I was sending and it's now been six months. I'm soon to have it over with, but crikey! Thanks! Since then it's been figured out, but it was aggravating as heck, cause I even saved a voicemail that said it was lost from someone at USPS I brought the receipt and THE MANAGER at the SAME POST OFFICE told me the tracking hadn't let up and not to fill out the forms or it wouldn't go through. Just blew my mind grapes at the audacity. Six months later the books aren't lost but, well forgive the rant 😂
  17. Speaking of which since your an aussie I sent a package to Australia in late April! It kept updating till this past week that it was "on its way" , but never left the country. Earlier this week nearly 6 months later, it updated back in Texas. This morning I saw that it was available for pick up. I went down and picked it up alright. It was marked return to sender by usps and the reason given was a box marked "other", on a list of reasons. I asked for a refund since it cost $250 and was never delivered, and they told me NO. I asked to speak to a manager, all she did was go and get the package, so I signed for it and left. I'm not sure if the reason was never explained and only "marked other" that they can't give me a refund. Now I'm going to send it to Australia another way, but it's a head scratcher for sure. It's hard for me and the person I was sending it to, to not take it personally
  18. Looked in decent shape. 1st of a person who becomes Hummingbird and 1st harvester, or something.
