  2. "Thanks for using our 10 minute oil change!" "Eh?!? I didnt have even have time to put in my hearing aid..." "Can you do it now?" "What?" "Can you do it now?" "What?" "Can you do it now?" "What?"
  3. @fastballspecial edit is there a story though? Found in the wild?
  4. Oh man, my cousin and I went to the lake and dug up a metal condm tin from the 1940's. We didnt open it, but was a story to tell, other than that a 1916 penny was the closest I had or 1914, I forget but want to say the teens. I gave it to my cousin as a gift for getting me to try the hobby for a while. I kept the penny from 1944, as I was in college at the time and the year had some story to take to class. After the condm tin, I relinquished the hobby :roflmao
  5. Etch it out nicely, can be done if gentle enough and bricks going up anyway, and prayers for your dad as well. I've got folks that are elderly that dont want to put in a walk in tub for the same reasons of resale. Sometimes the heart wants what it do!
  6. Well it IS a stylish piece, glad you enjoyed as much as possible, perhaps take the picture and have it blown up or printed on a shirt or something. Might make a nice gift etc and prayers for your day, hope there is peace in the end.
  7. I mean I get that, but the whole time I'm thinking if ever any other owners of that building need to take down the bricks.... Boy would they get a SURPRISE! Silver lining and all? Idk but could you imagine? I dont want to pry as to the need to fill in bricks, but it is an provoking or interesting way to say bye to it.... Cheers Mate!
  8. Pics pics pics! Of slabs slabs slabs! Or at least...... whew congrats and thank God
  9. Yes I noticed the same tightness in the book i received today, but not my submission but just a slab I bought. I thought at first that it had scs @CGC Mike I was curious if this was the new norm, but idk, if it used to be with ones that did have shaken comic syndrome, Lol idk if now, all it takes one good jolt or not. Just amazingly tight, like I thought it was pinched or almost a bent under the edge. It isnt but it buckles in that area to where I noticed it was tight. I'm being as specific as I can, cause. @littledoom has a pic, I'm not by my new slab to take a pic.
