  1. You quote me but I'm new so don't know the answers your looking for. I did give you another world example of consignments, but they wouldn't have details of your transactions at the major auction houses. See above your post
  2. Lol as I said, I'm like you and learning about these auction houses. For those who use them often, I'm sure it's old hat and buyer is assumed to know. I have never really tried so idk any fine print anywhere, but one of my LCS does consignment but the books are in store and he still tells you first. More to the fact that he's not able to adjust the price BECAUSE it is consignment. They like to do a lot of trades and trade INS for non consignment, and only take 10% from consignment that sell. Just to give you feedback.
  3. amen You paid by check, therefore the refund is usually in the form of the initial payment so refund by check. I knew it was going to take a while on that end, I was just making sure the consignor wasn't more unscrupulous and somehow had part of the $8,000 as well I'm sure he'll be banned by comiclink, and or others, hope it was worth it, but idk, it's all a bit Glad you're content at the moment
  4. That's the whole reason I think they ARE funny, that they're "bad" It's intentional and just for fun.
  5. As has been said in the past “cool books”. I know at least two people I will no longer deal with. For the record, I'm NOT OK WITH IT, any of it, but I was curious how the check was not refunded straight away, it went from only the seller to only comiclink. In reality we've talked about both, I don't see why one should have focus over the other Wasn't my intention
  6. awesome awesome awesome! I assume the green one at the bottom? that the weight from figures up top didn't cause it to lean? Or doesn't create too much pressure on the bubble plastic holding the vehicle?
  7. I didn't post it, because I wasn't sure where we were in order, but the 10 book modern I got back 2 days ago was received on 5/3 The grades made sense to me, some were text book grades, imo, and they hit it on the head. To be honest I felt 2 were generous, but those I was unsure of when I sent them and 1 was a little harsh imo but I get it Hoping for you!
  8. Lol I dug up a Tootsie metal bus or van with a metal detector years ago in my front yard. I didn't stay with it long, but I kept that momento; although, it's not match box or etc. nor hot wheels
