  1. ya I guess I just never hear enough about Gen Z to know those stereotypes
  2. Aren't millennials like 40 years old? I could have sworn it started in 1981...
  3. Upcoming Harley Anniversary Issue.... Not bad, or at least different
  4. I can actually see the pink panther. I swear those things are hard for me Easier a long time ago haha
  5. I'm just excited that economy tier had signs of life, as it too has been just as aggressively sought after same as qc. It isn't ok that it has gone on so long either, although it's just nice to see the sunshine however brief. Even if it's me holding my own flashlight
  6. Lol 😂 job descriptions can be vague but I understand where you're coming from haha JS sometimes understanding the job is as important as implementation. I can't imagine some of these errors were done by someone who "should just know better" 😂 I feel the frustration. I hope it works out for whomever. Glad the squeaky wheels are getting greased to say the least!
  7. I'm sure the new qc coordinator cgc hired has to inspect and train the people messing up.... That's why cgc Mike asked us to report, so in turn can report to the coordinator to help them instruct. It's at least good that the trainee is not automatically fired, if able to learn, so they dont waste time with another new hire all over again. "Time"
  8. For it to have transferred in that specific location would be difficult to fathom, it would have had to be the right comic, with a sticker or other transferrable media, that somehow didn't make it look backwards More than likely manufacturing, hence why I mentioned this thread for kicks. If it were slabbed, it would probably be a green qualified label, as cgc sometimes does that with certain manufacturing oddities. I'm not sure about that, I have a Canadian price variant of a Mark Jewelers Insert that usually is for USA stationed military bases. Anyway, cgc gave it a blue label, but I've seen other divergent comics with green. Someone will want it eventually If that's you for now, it's cool as it has several different aspects. Idk how well known the dcu market is, may be worth rehashing in several years.
  9. I do understand that a few DCU logos had them as stickers on books, hence that would make sense via heat transfer, but the likelihood of it being from another comic is slim. Due to the exact spot on the book being so lined up and etc. Sounds like the printers were a bit jammed and they had to finish out the mes up in printing to un jam it @L.E. Gill still cool
  10. I'm sure @onlyweaknesskryptonite will have some thoughts upon return, @Get Marwood & I is someone who frequently visits this thread I think it's an oddity. I almost thought it was due to heat or something, with the comic transfer being rubbed on. Still That doesn't explain the back cover Haha
  11. I know they added elainna Grayson finally to issue #25... I wonder if cgc is just satisfied with that?
  12. If someone would, work on batwoman beyond? Is it true that it is issue #37? I bought it advertised as such, but never had it added, on two tries
  13. That is so cool! If you would, please post in this thread as well They also may give feedback that would be more than here, or at least different
  14. It's more pain than it's worth to mention to cgc too. They say to write it on the submission form and the graders will decide if to notate, but it's never worked for me, especially on a brand new label notation. That kind if thing might work for Newsstand or mar jeweler or some such, but a 1st app and the like has never ever worked for me
  15. In my mind, the bonding happens, but the new form or entity isnt named. That's how I understood. So, imo, cgc wouldnt make up a name not given in the comics to put on the label. Like what if it was named later by said writers or artists? Then cgc would have a mess of their slabbed copies. That's how I understood it. @lostboys
  16. I haven't read the story but 20 issues later the same thing happens with carnage concerning the silver surfer, so I would assume to cgc it depends on how integral and connected to the "story" it is, imo. I own both #410,#430,&#431, but I've always wondered myself if it was just a hype or rumored thing to be. If it wasnt similar to rumor on the cover itself, I wouldnt have bothered collecting. Indeed. I WISH IT WAS ON THE LABEL.
