  1. which is odd because even though it'll go out tomorrow, "tracking" won't pick up until tomorrow evening. idk why but seems to be often that way
  2. well typically, I think that the shipping carrier is at noon eastern or thereabouts Glad it was marked shipped, so you can sneak a peek Still, usually afternoon marked shipped goes out next morning, I could be wrong, but that has been my experience.
  3. Thanks! I way over paid for it I traded some "fine condition", Wolverine limited series #1-4 for $75 towards it. Problem is, #1 was VF, but all had "raw sigs." #1 by Claremont that I had done at the 1st con I ever went to, didn't know about grading and all they had available was the competition. #2-4 were only "fine" but signed by Len Wein, I bought them raw already signed. I'm kicking myself for letting go of the sentiment, but it wasn't all that great a memory for raw sigs and so on $75 credit, and then due to cost of the item, I paid another $55.
  4. well to that point, you wouldn't be anonymous anymore it would show who sent the message, and that it was a response to the "seller's offer". No Worries. I'd welcome the response, I'm sure most sellers will. I've sent offers "out into the wild", only to have NO RESPONSE and be left wondering indefinitely hahaha
  5. If a buyer shows interest in the comic according to ebay software, ebay gives the option to the seller to make an offer to "those interested." Whether it is officially watching the listing or just clicking on it idk. It doesn't tell the seller what the user handle of the "interested person is" either, so we don't know who we're making an offer too, whether they have good feedback or will even pay. it just says "2 people interested, send offer?" but the seller knows the offer sent and for how much
  6. not sure @Ryan. I originally thought it had happened, it has not though My guess would be by end of month, given the deadline was May 6th to have them in. Past that idk. They had done a Facebook video and posted from the last signing, which threw me off into thinking somehow it had happened, I was wrong Sorry for any confusion
  7. We saw t in IMAX unlike how they did Dr Strange My brother was born in 1987 never saw the first top gun. Complained while we were in line. Has relatives and friend who work on planes for the Air Force. Saw this one for the first time and it blew his expectations out of the water. That said it may just be the high octane, but he gave it praise all the way to the car. Plus they gave away hats afterwards. 😂
  8. Not exactly a meme, just some pics of the moon I found, from a week or so ago when it was turning red. It was cloudy when it was "visible" for me, so I just thought I'd share. Maybe others had better pics.... Otherwise, the redness eclipse has happened so much recently that it might be old hat for some, so no worries
  9. all of the above, yes do if possible. I am still finding all ages of books at my LCS in Dallas, TX. What I have a problems with is Dallas is the "home" of the competitors, and it is starting to be hard to find "CGC related" items I hope this is not a growing trends
  10. when 2019 issues with LCS started there were a few things. Some had already started doing Facebook Live videos with claiming posts and shipping, those who hadn't done it before started doing it. When your forced to shut down indoor shopping periodically or without notice you improvise. That said, certain close to me LCS who had then started ended up with only moderns "in store", as they had to save the "good stuff" for these LCS Facebook vids throughout the week. Then and only if no one claimed it on Facebook, would it go into store stock. LCS could sell it for cheaper on Facebook, hence the line I always dreaded, "$10 here today on facebook, if it makes it to the store then $15!" So people were getting it "cheaper" during Facebook, but it left the stores ravished, EXCEPT>>>>> Except for bigger ticket slabbed items, that no one would impulse purchase during Facebook. Even though you could use PayPal credit and etc. with these shows and with all the LCS doing them, that meant 5 to 6 shows on Facebook per week. They offered shipping or pick up in store, but all the vids left you a couch potato, and or, broke as a joke to pick up bigger ticket items. This is just one instance with a detailed summary. Also those not hurting for money are collecting and don't need to sell, if this also dries up supply, well then that is something else entirely
  11. Not bad, with Reece's set up and all the hulk 181's, and a few other vendors with slabs and raws.
  12. I don't think mailing it 2 weeks out would be a problem. I vaguely remember that when they raised prices just over a year ago they gave you something like a month to get orders orders created before the price increase mailed into them. Really as long as there is no price increase between the time the order was created and received by CGC there should be no problems. The only other criteria than price increases, is lapse in membership. It has to be delivered before membership runs out, only other I could think of 🤔
  13. Welcome to the boards! Hope you enjoy, glad you got to be a seasoned traveler too. A comics pile is always fun 😆
  14. If you're interested there was a boardie buying them up, if selling, but I probably couldn't afford it as much as I wanted. Glad in your introduction post you mentioned the yojimbo Netflix, I still haven't gone past the first episode, but more importantly I'm glad it made your list! Me and @Wolverinex among others thought it would be made after the TMNT issues #47 with space usagi. You're in good company and welcome to the boards! Nice books 😊
