  1. If I remember correctly... Crain did some cool sigs as a one time gig... And people were missing out, and there was demand. So if he's going to take that much time at a con.to.do fancy sigs and hold up the lines etc. People will pay money for it? As an excuse for why the line takes so long ? That's my understanding but where is the fun in that.
  2. Except cgc came up with that idea, not the sig variant
  3. I've had Mister Miracle #6 at CGC since October last year, economy I forget what I had it graded as vf surely

  5. I'll admit I'm not always into the subject matter, the vampirella ar what not, but he is pretty talented for sure. I hadn't heard of him until maybe 3 years ago But still I've noticed, his stuff that he HAS drawn, its undoubtedly talented.
  6. Some of those Mattina covers are real nice! Hes coming to a con near me soon, I'm always impressed.
  7. 1x Bagley moved to G/E/I this afternoon. No pressing service. I should have mentioned I did have mine pressed, so it has been a week
  8. Yes I was agreeing with that It was the blanket rule, which I now understand is conditional towards @CGC Mike discretion.....that I was mulling or double checking, and since @Shinwar might not have known. Just wanted a heads up to keep him posting like he does
  9. awesome, and believe me that is encouraging!!!! Nice perspective, I'll stay tuned
  10. Ya last you mentioned was that you might feel better or things were looking up, vaguely remember that, but you weren't sure and to play it by ear. I'd feel bad if I never reached out though haha. I'll take it to heart next time.
  11. I'll agree and @Shinwar doesn't often do that, it's just a video rather than pics. But I agree with your sentiment for sure I was hoping there was a grey area, and I'm not even on YouTube but I've heard no complaints for those who post in correct areas idk. I'm just mulling it over 😂
  12. I would assume it'd be ok, don't know the ends and outs, but what else would Kevin smith sign? he's even listed under comic creators so I'll assume it's ok. I use that defense for Kevin Smith, but reality it should apply to all celebs, I'd hope that CGC would be normal conversation and or that it is easy to find out everything is subject to change so I'll be patient
  13. Seems like a simple thing I know But I've always been confused, as it isn't clear from some artists, I mean Kevin is a comic guy so it should have been considered pre anything. I went ahead and secured the sig package, now "IF" a different one becomes available and I have to transfer Not griping, it's just the unknown for me, not griping, just hoping
  14. Lol I don't have $20,000 I can spend on a run to show my love for Batman, just like I don't have it for an af #15. Ah man!
  15. dang I feel bad for @Shinwar he was good people, but at least he had the decency to post in the correct thread, of New comic book day, con celebration pick ups..... He just did it rather than posting pics......... he did a video, I assume for his "channel" but idk
  16. The only thing I can think of is: If it costs $20,000 to complete batman#300-400. And it costs $20000 for a ASM#1 or af #15. Then the points and completion bonus should more correlate! If I'm given $20000 to buy a run of batman I may I may not, but if you're thinking I'd do it to win a registry award, then thats even more love I'd have to have for Batman Over a $20,0000 dollar car and etc. I'm not that rich either. That's the same thing that skews imo If a high grade ASM #1 skews then so does $20,000 worth of batman. Y'all bout to price me out 😂 @wytshus
  17. @wytshus I mean a run is all good, but if the argument is "affordability?" What is the difference in buying a bunch of $200 keys, rather than Buying a bunch of $200 in high grade non keys to fill up a run? I get that high grade may "skew" but that shouldn't offset that there are still a lot of affordable out there Imo it should matter the set only Yes it will cost a lot to fill a set of Batman #1-100? But less to do a run of batman #200-300 and so one to #300-400 I think the scoring is fine, just more sets should be considered for awards? Rather than the highest ranking? Idk how you would determine, other than description and pics. I would be just as if the awards were due to movie buzz? I mean there is no logical progression other than completeness, pics, and description, which I "thought was already in place" The only thing I can concretely determine, is maybe there should just be more awards? To give more people a chance? I don't want to single me out, but I feel I'm being singled out due to: I can't afford to spend $200 on run of the mill Batman books from #300-400 that most I've never read, 100 books at $200 is still $20,000 that you could have spent on a set earlier in the run. I respect run collectors, and believe they should be rewarded with a completion bonus. But just because the "run is 'more affordable', which it isn't in the long run", maybe more awards available to pick more sets, and or, more sets be broken up so runs are easier to complete? I'd rather spend $20,000 On an AF #15 than a bunch of Batman books that would earn me $500 in grading credit in the long run. Maybe I'm being singled out, though I do own runs, so in my defense I'm ignorant or not understanding the logic here
  18. Are the jay and silent bob duo sig package all in at $99 available for cgc witness?
  19. @Kevin Boyd I'm new to this, not sure who to talk to? Jay and Bob auto are already available as a package, are they allowed to be witnessed for CGC? @mysterio any facilitators out there I can ask?
