  1. Well then are you saying the old mods used to be a secret who they were,.so that they could still post freely as regular board members? Cause that is not entirely true either. I knew several of the old mods,! I do not however know @CGC Mike old board handle, and I know him as boardie Mike that has a bit of moderation capabilities. Nothing more nothing less. I really don't see a problem with it, he gets paid to do a job as his manager says. I'm not sure any boardie complaints or influence will change that. It's what he signed up for is all. But anyway
  2. We will just have to agree to disagree. My boss is my best friend since 5th grade. I'd rather go to lunch with him than most other people on the planet. So your argument is pretty invalid to me. I see people as people. No matter where they are on the hierarchy of whatever. I would eat lunch with a CEO and a homeless guy at the same table. I would even share my food with them. Heck I would gladly sit at a table and hang with you and Mike at the same time. I think he's saying, everyone used to secretly know who the moderators were, and " they were all guys who hung out?" But now that it's opened up to everyone and everyone can be friends with the moderator, instead of an "inclusive'in crowd" that his old friends are now disowning him? Is that what you're saying?
  3. If you're going to sell it anyway... I wonder if it's best to send it to an auction house like heritage.... They may get it resoldered and set it up for sale in one swoop? Would take time of course, but may be less demanding idk
  4. Or for triple cover there is "triple action" comics, that's a little more understandable due to being part of the title, but ya, or typing just "3.99 cgc" to get Newsstand results and getting listings that say 99 cent auction . Some of it is understandable but still
  5. Haha I've noticed that when searching for double covers, there are other examples too
  6. Venus was first, appearing in 1997's live-action show The Next Mutation. But that's all she ever appeared in until now. Hence the technicality. And yep, it was TMNT 95. I've still got to track me down a copy of that issue. and I think Jennika actually "appeared" in an early issue of TMNT, I want to say in the #50's, but she "becomes a ninja" in #95 Just for those "completionists" out there
  7. welcome to the boards! And yes, the unwitnessed would be a green strip on the label, but smallish, which would be above the Yellow label for the witnessed signature here is an example

  9. To be honest I always think of these threads not as past conquest, but of just reminiscing, that's why I mentioned " the grey" and others mentioned vitamin pencils too! Just remember, among quarrels there were good times too. Stay comic, dranzer, and stay in love with comics.
