  1. Zot Comics lot of 26 (full run was 36 issues) including #1. Avg grade approx FVF or better, but #’s 6 and 26 have stains. (WAS $30) NOW $20
  2. I am about to cut the above price, add shipping charges for the new thread, then begin adding about a short box and a half of books from three different small collections that I picked up for read and release in recent times. Most are pretty nice readers, but one of the three batches had some water-damaged books. I tossed a couple that were too shot; I will try to call out the small handful that have stains, but they are all within cheap reader lots, no pricey books from that batch. Because many of these lots will be a Stacker’s Delight, some of the really cheap and sizable reader lots will be bagged and sandwiched into a brick, not individually bagged and boarded. I figure those stacking for reading would rather maximize box space and shipping costs (books will still be packed well) but if you REALLY a need your cheap readers individually bagged and boarded, we can talk via PM. (When you see the lots, it will make sense, but I am trying to both keep them cheap and maximize your shipping dollar for you.) Better-grade singles and small lost will be bagged/boarded as usual.
  3. List is all kinds of off. Plus, there’s total effectiveness in unarmed combat and raw strength. Namor holds his own against the Hulk and Thing so many times due to greater agility and flight coupled with not-insignificant strength, for example. Look at him vs Wonder Man in Avengers #155 when he tries to just wade in. I think Surfer is also a case of lower baseline (mid-tier) but can channel his cosmic energy into strength for greater levels, though longer than Iron Man. I remember him doing that in a brawl with some super strength powerhouse; can’t recall which story. Maybe TTA 93 vs Hulk? I’ll circle back’ if I find the reference.
  4. By the look of things, he might be better off posting some old Astros baseball cards for sale
  5. Look at what Iron Man says, though. “For about two seconds.” With extra electricity and everything channeled toward the system that gives him super-Strength, he can achieve that level for maybe half a minute. Look at Avengers #165 vs Count Nefaria, or Iron Man #132, where he lays out the Hulk with a single punch. That’s all he’s referring to.
  6. This. Reading that made me double-check, as I have not followed pro sports in a while. My search also turned up several ex-players referring to some guy named Steve Dalkowski, who they all say threw harder than Ryan. I don’t recall ever hearing of the guy before; maybe it’s the players’ answer to Van Lingle Mungo and Sid Finch??? Oh yeah - Bedrock, you are certainly nitting the schiz as promised . Will there be oddball golden age in this menagerie too?
  7. Wings #89 cgc 2.5 (WAS $400) NOW $325 shipped within U.S.

  11. Me neither — didn’t he and Palmer work on it together? Maybe Palmer was Adkins’ inker? I did it from memory, didn’t recheck. @Bird also added a few- I flat out forgot Everett, and I did not know/recall Paul Smith’s work on the title. He also added three others I was unfamiliar with, from more recent runs that I have not followed.
  12. Thank you, how did I forget Everett?? The others I wasn’t aware of.
  13. I’ll add a dark horse — through various runs, Dr Strange — Ditko, Palmer, Colan, Brunner, Marshall Rogers.
  14. Thank you sir! It’s such a great venue for everything else (both info exchange and transactions), why not OA? I know, CAF and all that, but our boards are still a great little corner of this hobby’s universe.
  15. Thanks Jason. That’s what I thought. I couldn’t find a lot of Travis Moore out there, so I priced it in the middle of what I found. Open to reasonable offers, boardieland! Heck, at the rate I’m buying lately, I might be open to vaguely unreasonable ones
  16. That TAR #41 is an absolute steal, even in that shape. It is a ghost.
  17. How the heck is an FF #62 in Fine still here at $20???!!! I paid a lot more the day before or I would have grabbed that too.
