    Kirby covers but a couple Baker stories in each. These were Joe Sinnott’s file copies; he signed the first page of his story in each one.

    I’d rather see some modern stories retold in about one-third the number of pages (panels are OK, they don’t all have to be splash pages), with some more action and a little bit of realistic dialogue. Can we try those remakes???

    Had another chance at some of Joe Sinnott’s 50’s file copies today. Picked up the X-Men 50 (not a Sinnott file copy) just because I never had one, it’s a nice copy, and it doesn’t seem to be getting cheaper, unlike a lot of its peers. One of a few books that I don’t think I’d have saved money by waiting on, so El Cheapo Grande finally pulled the trigger.

    Ok, I’m going to tear a page from @catrick339 ‘s playbook (imitation is the sincerest of flattery, Rick!) and declare a soft close while I sit down with a fresh cup of coffee and PM invoices to all takers before work. Classic Wally Wood, with what appears to be a sig on inside front cover, though I am not certain. While it resembles his lettering, it does not resemble any of his sigs that I can find. $50
