How about some Copper Age OA? Page 16 from Blue Beetle #9 (1987), pencils by Paris Cullins and inks by Bruce Patterson. Also included are: - Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories #633, a tough late-run issue featuring Barks’ classic “Donald Duck’s Best Christmas,” reprinted from the 1945 Firestone Giveaway. - Cursed Comics Cavalcade #1 (so no one accuses me of going too sappy with a Barks Christmas classic) - Doonesbury creator Garry Trudeau’s autograph on a 3x5 card (who saw that coming???) I’ll ship within U.S. or to Canada.

Alright, I’ll put us back on topic and throw a wrench in the mix....we’ve named no women, and there are very few in Comics art history, but if I argued one it would be Wendy Pini for pioneering the independent Comics movement and introducing the manga style to the U.S.audience.

You just reminded me — Speaking of comic artists and stone monuments, Herb Trimpe was married to Linda Fite, daughter of Harvey Fite, known for his stone construction “Opus 40” (he died approx. 37 years into his 40-year project).

Good to know; thank you! And I don’t know who I’d personally drop from your four all-time cartoonists list, but I’d have a hard time leaving Windsor McCay out. And in the same spirit as Schultz, who is obviously not there on ground-breaking artwork itself, I have to consider Watterson as a storyteller too.
