Apart from that, I'm not much for it on the buy-in side, as everyone's definition of "legit" backers and regulators can vary greatly. Legal and criminal are not always antonyms in this world, unfortunately.

That look could come from color touch post- sticker removal, but it also struck me that it could be a bad cleaning effort to get off some sticker residue after removal. Maybe too much benzene, an old-school cleaning "technique" I saw a then old-timer (now passed) use in an LCS once when I was in high school. -- NOT fumes one want to inhale (carcinogen) please no one take up this "lost art." -- But I know first-hand there were folks who used this stuff years ago, because I saw it once and he talked about it like it was a known/not unusual thing.

Ok gang, as I mentioned comps were tough for many of these. I tried my best to price fairly but many of these were hard to determine pricing for, so I have made price cuts on the 14 books remaining. Looks 5.0-5.5 from front but slight tear and dirtiness on back cover pulls me to 4.5 range, so let's go VG+ Love Diary #1 gorgeous Bill Ward art; becomes Diary Loves with #2. Four on eBay; three with more flaws, and a comparable asking $350. A cgc 4.0 sold in 2018 for $179.25 on Heritage. Three on census. (WAS $200) NOW $175
