  1. Ok, the one you have been waiting for ....from the collection of Dolores Kurtz, apparently...David Cassidy #1! VG range, $10.
  2. Signet silver age Batman paperback, 1st printing, VG, black and white GA reprints. Paired with DC Blue Ribbon Digest #69 which would be VF/NM but for the black marker on the cover. Still....Superman vs Geo-Force! Take the pair for $10.
  3. High Camp Superheroes, a black and white silver age paperback reprinting some MLJ heroes stories. VG/F $10.
  4. First up, let's do a shipped lot of htf goodness. Here's six Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles digests; three copies of #1, a #2 and two copies of #3. All seem to be about F/VF 7-ish range. Take the lot for $60 shipped.
  5. Finally! A thread absolutely nobody in their right mind is asking for! This stuff is NOT for everyone, but if it's for you....well, there's medicines....seriously, there's some fun oddball stuff coming. Enjoy! Shipping is actual, except where a lot is listed with a shipped price. I don't think there's anything here that someone wants to ship across a border, plus this stuff could be defined as an act of war, so U.S. only. (If ya gotta have it, PM and we will try to work out terms). PM's welcome; in thread trumps, time stamp rules. No nefarious listoids. Payment is money order or check. Returns accepted; notify within three days of receipt and send back in same condition, on your dime -- unless I missed something.
  6. Coming some time today (barring disaster) -- the sales thread called "I Gotta Be Nuts!" From Silver to Copper, there will be digests, paperbacks, photo covers, general screwiness. We're talking the kinda stuff where 9 out of 10 say "who the heck wants that?" And the 10th person pulls the trigger instantly. Nothing overly expensive, but some stuff hard to find and all of it fun and wacky. Definitely for niche collectors; come see if yours is represented. Watch Mixed Threads for it; come hang out with me and the TMNT, Batman, Barbie, the Partridge Family, the MLJ heroes, Archie and others! (Official emoji of this very special, highly questionable, fully demented, extremely fun sales thread!)

  9. Atom Ant somewhere, yes....no Astro Boy...but Space Ghost yes
  10. It IS a cool cover...haven't read it yet...the guy I traded with for it needed a few bronze books for a customer, and I wanted to give him what he could sell since he broke down and finally sold me the Cap 12. So I saw this in the corner of the showcase and realized it was about the least common thing in there, so why not pick it?
  11. Why would we stone you? You nailed it. Current supply is outpaced by current demand. If Spidey's popularity tanks, maybe it slides sooner than say Tec 27 if Bats tanks, as demand loss catches up more quickly to the larger supply. I think only AC1 is somewhat immune,to this as, though supes' popularity has wand from its peak, the book is still the prime mover, the starting point. But if we are all going to fret over the fading popularity of Spidey, bats, wolverine, Deadpool etc we may as well all dump everything. (I'm exaggerating a bit for effect, sure.) Heck, Marvel Comics 1 and All Star were even bigger deals in the past, so it's not impossible. But if I am going to worry about AF15, why am I buying any SA keys these days???
  12. Thx! Much of this guy's collection is like that. Wherever he bought his books, they made sure to make clear stamps and conscious choices about placement.
  13. Seventh wife to seven wonders of the modern world
  14. So many ways you could go....we have covered the classical trophy keys version of the list pretty well....Maybe hunt some high grade less common items, such as Night Nurse 1, All-Star Western 10, Fast Willie Jackson 7....Marvel Feature 1 with that Adams cover looks awesome....a high-grade Conan 1 is a sweet-looking book.....If you're a Round number collector (100th, 200th etc) the 70s is an affordable array of eye candy, and you already have X-Men 100 in there....I'm partial to Batman 300; not a lot of slabs and probably fits your initial per slot budget in high grade....
  15. Ok, here they are...pages 2 and 3 of PM/IF #73, featuring Rom, by Greg LaRocque.
  16. What, greedy??? The lady is offering homemade cookies! AND awesome Bats...was going to message you, but you found them already....after Cap yesterday and that SA pile last week, I should be figuring out what to sell, not what to buy! But Sharon's thread s always have high "miss it, kick yourself" potential so here I am looking to get even more tapped out ....
  17. Agreed! Also, do I have to pay shipping to get the cookie? (See, people DO read the announcement threads!) chocolate chip, please!
  18. This thread needs a Big Man on Campus...like Vic Verity, high school hero!
  19. Thx guys! It is a shame; I agree on grade range but less those scrunched it would have been solid mid-range (flat, clean, glossy, bright otherwise)
