  1. I was sending someone some 'how to' instructions by PM the other day and lost the lot - had to do it all twice as it didn't come back - it's a big disincentive to posting anything meaningful (so you should be OK Ken )
  2. The awe4one site seems to have been down for a while, but I did find this earlier: https://nerdsonearth.com/2021/10/mark-jewelers-comic-book-insert/
  3. Defenders #9 is cover dated 10/73 - the corresponding ASM (#125) has the Alka Seltzer / US Club Wrap additional insert - I'm guessing they mean that:
  4. I was just updating some of my plotting tables, and noticed a big gap between these two: I plotted both in the second use of the stamp, as if the 9 numbered copy was a 9 of the first use, it would stand out like a sore thumb. So it was probably a latecomer. If you know what I mean (I'm not sure I do anymore).

I love a nice bondage cover
  7. Indeed. We focus on the comics of course, but T&P stamps are all over magazines and, as you say, they were likely more lucrative. Looks at all the different pies they had a finger in: I gave up organising them a while ago. What shop did you run, Robot?
  8. Some clues as to the ownership of the numbered T&Pesque 'diamond' stamp....? (No 'Rod' jokes please. Or Jane and Freddy. Or Dyno. Or Stewart. Or Fishing) A regular, round 1/6 T&P stamp on this copy.... This one's sticker might be a shop, I suppose. Or Hull
  9. I gathered images of the UK 'Movie Classics' reprints by World Distributors a few years back (there were gaps on the GCD at the time). We'll have to cross reference for any triples Andy
  10. It looks like most are seeing it infrequently - we clearly just have good timing!
  11. And again: And it took ages to add the screenshots to this post:
  12. Is anyone else getting this regularly lately? I've had it about five times today - three of them screenshotted above - and pretty much every day for several weeks now. It doesn't last that long, admittedly - about 30 seconds to a minute each time - but it's always when I'm in the middle of posting something (get your jokes in now) or messaging someone. I only mention it because when this happened before, a year or so back, the frequency gradually increased until the boards became unusable. I don't think I could stand that again. Anyone else? I post in UK hours, so maybe I'm seeing it more than others.
  13. I never knew that, Reggie. The last pence copy before the first UK Price Variant hiatus. Oh, sorry - wrong thread!
  14. That one was impressive, yes. Especially in view of Kev being a hundred and eighty years old and blind as a bat @Kevin.J
  15. Brilliant One more spelling mistake and Goodacre would've taken Goodcare of any marauders I'm sure.
