Looking at my Uncanny Tales #10 plate set, if this plate... ...made this cover... ...and I have it, untouched with the shilling price still etched out.... ....I wonder how Alan made these three subsequent books that used the same cover? New / different plates, or the same plates with, perhaps, an overprint of some sort? @Yorick, what say thou?

That's actually my old copy! I remember posting how he was pointing to the stamp in, probably, my old Marvel UKPV thread.

I like this double stamped copy below - it looks like the Flash is painting the second one in. On another copy, Hawkman's adding a diamond while Flash is trying to get the sticker off:

They're not mine and the image doesn't blow up well. They look to all be 2 shillings but the numbers aren't clear enough. Possibly a 1 on one of them.

Yes, a lot of the images I have saved over the years are from around that time - here's a gaggle of Feb '74 Kamadi's, which imply something systematic: Hard to work out what was going on with these really.

Who knows, Gary. I'm not even sure if the diamond stamp is T&P's. It shares some characteristics of course, but I don't recall anyone finding a smoking gun that actually links it to them.
