Fabulous day at the London Comic Fair! If you look closely, you'll see a 10c GW #64 hiding in the picture below. The book is a confirmed Miller, but I don't have my own copy yet: I haven't opened it yet - bought it blind. Will it have a Miller Filler? "We shall see...."

Great day at the comic fair today One of those rare times where you actually find loads of new things. I got new pence Dells, Archie's and Charlton's and may even have picked another Miller Marvel off (haven't opened it yet). If you follow my threads you'll know I like printing errors. Even though I already have a copy, I couldn't resist this Reptilicus #1 here: Not a spectacular error by any means, just a distinct lack of black ink on the cover. Compare it to my other copy and you'll see what I mean: The back cover shows an equal lack of ink, sealing the deal (no sun fades in this thread! And anyway, black isn't the first to go): I'll summarise all the new finds later. I picked these two up as well - I already have copies but these were too nice, and too cheap, to leave behind: You don't see them often in this grade

What a great page! The parrot should definitely have his own comic. Some admirable ideas here AJD. "Spitting sky fiend" from a chap with a crocodile head. I want this comic!

Actually, I'm cool. I forgot that I ran out of toilet paper and used them yesterday. I'll give you a tip though. Take the staples out first.

I left all my Charlton keys on the porch by mistake once. When I realised, I panicked and rushed out to get them. Someone had added to the pile.

Great thread, as is the embedded one. I spotted the Modern reprints when I started my pence research but they were dated after the final pence copies so I never got round to investigating further. Nice to learn a little more about them here.
