  1. I see, thanks Squeggs. Maybe you should send him some evidence to see if he'll consider correcting it. It's a shame to see a high profile inaccuracy in print. Happens often alas...
  2. I wasn't a big fan of the Eccleston portrayal. I never got the sense that he understood the character, or knew what to do with it. Rose on the other hand, was inspired. What a great actress Billie Piper turned out to be, against expectations. And such an interesting face.
  3. Hulk like batmiesta. Batmiesta has cool Hulk avatar. But if batmiesta should start to get 'up to no good', and sully the good name of Hulk, then Hulk will smash!
  4. Alas, no batmiesta. I did have all the ones with Spidey in back during the completist years, but they were all cents copies. I gathered these images from eBay etc during the pence research. I've done the same for DC, but haven't gotten round to posting them yet. Looking at your name, is that batmiesta as in Batman, or Bronze Age Treasuries?
  5. They are nice aren't they. I like all treasuries, pence and cents. I posted a link to my pence thread earlier wormboy, listing all the pence treasury editions I've found with a picture of each - here it is again in full I missed this one off as I haven't checked whether it's an official Marvel or DC book - or both, given the title banner!:
  6. For what it's worth, I agree. Very interesting - I like this kind of stuff. You guys clearly know what you're talking about, so I wonder what lead CGC to decide to the contrary?
  7. I had a 96 with a double insert. But I didn't take a picture so am cursed to be forever disbelieved
  8. That is very nice androolx There is no such thing as a Marvel 30/35 cent variant with a MJI. If you find one, someone made it at school.
  9. Alas, no JollyC Firstly, this is a DC book, and this is the Marvel pence thread. Secondly, every copy of the book has dual cents / pence pricing, so it's not a price variant. Just a jolly nice comic
  10. I know, but I'd still like to drool over it, androolx
  11. I know, I was messing with you (Marwood, put the dogs back. False alarm.)
  12. Very nice. Take a picture of the inside so we can see the lingerie
  13. Forties and fifties range. Had some Spidey ones and the winter Olympics one if I remember correctly. And one of the Spidey vs Supes ones. There were two versions.
  14. They're nice Never use the word 'inferior' in relation to pence copies again though, or I'll release the hounds.
  15. Tell me about it. I've been to every comic shop in England and I still haven't found what I'm looking for.
  16. He can't smile without you. Can't laugh, can't sing. In fact, he's finding it hard to do anything.
