  1. Marie was one of Marvels top artists no bones about it. Everyone knows ole grapeape loved Marie. One heck of a nice woman and superb artist! I think that’s a very cool piece glad you posted!!
  2. Great job Jade Giant !!!! + Turtle * Chazgee As for the eBay counterfeit-scammer each time going forward you list this stuff expect your eBay email to blow up with bot-spam—- in my opinion of what is likely to happen— no actual knowledge of sabotage. 🍇 🦍
  3. I have the poster and two first edition autographed books I bought from Reds Baroque Bookstore back in the eighties.
  4. The Crumb Bukowski material sold well. I wanted all of it but the two I wanted the most, went for the most. It was nostalgia for me as a huge fan of Bukowski in particular. I sadly came away empty handed but am glad the public recognized this work. I do have a rare Bukowski poster done by Crumb and signed by Bukowski. This auction really had a lot of eye opening moments. I think that big money is going towards that one example that makes everyone say Holy S !!!! Ditko ASM McFarlane ASM Lee X Men Cover Big dollars on I think very representative art. It’s also clear Watchmen joins Killing Joke in the “out of your league” pricing with this auction and the page Will G sold just recently. The Ghost Rider Cover Wow!!!! And again collectors hate reserves. We want to compete. That’s gotta drive HA crazy I assume they’d rather have a guarantee sale —but even unsold the Frazetta and Kirby FF 55 brought drama and beauty to auction.
  5. The guy is paying bills with these endowed vixens, gnarly beasts and the like. I think that says more about the buyers 🥥🥥 👀 then the “out there” artist
  6. Ken is an amazing guy. He walked right up to Stan Lee to get a job and Stan sent him to see John Romita. Below are panels from a page penciled by Ken and ink and colors are doc Martin inks by Armando Gil.
  7. That cover one of the greats from my younger comic collecting days. I thought $25-30K. Never saw that final bid in my wildest dreams.
  8. Can you imagine devoting 26 years to put a book together? 3 pages short. For the eBay auction my hope is to appeal to the good spirit of collectors. Please stay on the sideline and your fingers off the bid key. Lets root Brian on to win these 2 pages which will leave him 1 page shy of completion. I will keep my eyes out for that last page. Good luck Brian 🍀 🍇 🦍
  9. ASM 10 Ditko SOLD $96,000 with BP Frazetta painting did not get the Million dollar reserve The Kirby FF 55 did not meet the reserve Alot to digest 🍇🦍
  10. This was a beautiful share. Heartfelt. I’ll just say that Joes work means the world to me. As a kid in the seventies seeing his collaboration with mighty King Kirby knocked my socks off. I have two personal drawings of the Silver Surfer by Joe. They are treasures I will always admire and love. Well written and expressed M2 Cheers 🍇🦍
  11. Put a little love in your ❤️ Put the Phantom Stranger in your art!!!
  12. As further news develops it would likely be noted on a preexisting thread posted on this thing😆 ASM 129 cover to hit ComicConnect..
  13. Blasphemy ShallowDan. Ixnay on the kickthephantomstranger!!! signed Phantom Stranger Nation
  14. The only page from that issue I’ve seen sell was back in 2003 at Heritage. Good luck I’m sure it’s out there but it might take awhile to uncover.
  15. HFS!!!!!!!!!! BWS greatness that’s a nice move positioning this against the auctions in progress. I wish I had the budget!!!
