  1. Lady Mechanika: Tablet of Destinies #1, page 17. Joe Benitez and Martin Montiel.
  2. Sorry. I had to withdraw this entry. I double checked my records and paid more for this piece than the $500 price threshold.
  3. Megaton Man vs Savage Dragon #1; Don Simpson & Erik Larsen
  4. Daredevil Annual #1 (ClanDestine), page 9. By Alan Davis & Mark Farmer.
  5. “Is that rolled up Avengers cover art in your pocket? Or are you just happy to see me?”
  6. I find it interesting to see all these great trophy pieces, but I am never going to own any unless some of the art I currently own evolves into one in the next 15 years. Highly, highly unlikely, but not impossible.
  7. I don’t really bother with CAF much anymore. If I want to look at my art, I pull my portfolio out and look at it! Why would I do it on a small LCD monitor instead? And, I don’t have the kind of collection that gets offers. Facebook is better for sharing only because you are more likely to get feedback from people who don’t even know your CAF gallery exists. Posting new art on CAF is like pouring a bucket of water into the Niagara Falls. As for cataloguing my art, yes, I have scans of all my art in a photos folder on my phone. I also have a folder of my scanned art on my laptop for record keeping and insurance purposes. The process for posting art on CAF is too cumbersome. And you have to pay for the privilege of doing it. Someone is going to come along with an App at some point that makes the process a lot easier.
  8. I get them all the time too. I think it’s a new feature eBay offers sellers. Maybe to preferred, proven buyers? I have no idea.
  9. So...just wait a couple more years and it will be reduced to the correct price range.
  10. You left out Barry Windsor Smith’s limited, yet phenomenal contribution to X-Men.

  12. He's asking collectors to be on the lookout for pages from his portfolio, and not buy them. I'm sorry if this was already posted.
  13. I don’t think there are a lot of Savage Dragon pages on the market. Larsen generally holds into his art. That said, I picked this up a couple of months ago from Don Simpson. It’s partially drawn by Erik.
  14. None other than Joe* Shuster had to resort to drawing soft porn stuff at one point. *corrected
  15. Nothing I can afford. But cool to look at.
  16. I suggested it could be used to display hi quality scanned original art. Well, now they have a Marvel licensing deal. https://www.netgear.com/landings/meural-marvel/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=us-meural-canvas-fb-cpc
  17. But what you like; hope the market also likes it at the time you sell it.
  18. It also works if you keep the stuff until you die.
  19. I guess you had to be there when Excalibur was a thing.
  20. Right. Don’t know if the Grell Starslayer covers was one of yours, but that went for an absurdly cheap price. Why? It’s a niche non superhero, 80’s Indy comic that doesn’t have a big current nostalgia following
  21. Don't really care that I was way under on this one. Even if I had the money, I wouldn't have bid on it anywhere near that price. I don't value it the way a lot of others apparently do.
  22. Are you referring to Jim Shooter? Does he have the cash to buy up art? LOL!
