  1. That Rick in Bed page is going to be valuable, and those Glenn pages are not going to retain their value over time. I think WD will only end when Rick finally dies.
  2. I didn't. I thought it made sense. After all, Batman has had multiple versions of Robin. Why wouldn't Joker have multiple versions of Harley? The idea being that Joker would take mentally unstable young women, and warp them through psychological manipulation into creating this character for him. Maybe as a weird homage to batman and Robin.
  3. Yes. Ezquerra Dredd pages in general are criminally undervalued, IMHO. He was the co-creator of the character, after all. And his costume design for the character was one of the greatest in comics history.
  4. IMHO, this series will best be known for the concept of there being TWO Harley Quinns, which I think makes any HQ pages - particularly the Harlene Quinzel version - potentially very collectible.
  5. $113,251 total on those pages. If CC got a 10% commission, that's $11,325. So James cleared at least $100,000 on this art.
  6. Felix sold out the art for the next big Batman story: Batman Who Laughs.
  7. Someone bought this page for $5K http://seanmurphyart.bigcartel.com/product/batman-white-knight-2-page-13
  8. In case anyone is interested. This would include prelim sketches. http://seanmurphyart.bigcartel.com/
  9. Meh. I refer to page 1 as the "Title Splash," which isn't as pertinent to modern comics any longer, because sometimes they put it a couple pages in. I regard a "splash" as a single panel page. A half splash as encompassing a single image in half the page, etc.
  10. I have an interior page, where the half splash on it was later turned into the San Diego Comic Con variant cover for that comic. It's posted on my CAF page. http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1402822
  11. Man, there's no point in my posting anything here after a Berni Swamp Thing page, and Berni Horror title splash, a Charles Addams sketch, a Romita Spidey page with Kingpin from his classic period, a Frazetta comic art page and a Frazetta OIL PAINTING! LOL!
  12. There's also a pretty iconic page by Enki Bilal from the great "Hunting Party" graphic novel.
  13. This is one of the reasons I don’t collect sketches or even commissions. I stick to published pages that I can check against the originals.
  14. They have their own message board where I go occasionally. This particular article should be a topic of discussion there. If they allow it.
  15. I just blew a big wad on some modern stuff. And boy was it some good stuff, though. When I get it in my grubby little hands I'll post some of it.
  16. Have you seen my Sal B. Thor title splash? http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1360749
  17. Please proceed, gentlemen. The drama to determine the ultimate fate of this particular item is merely a spectator sport for the likes of moi.
  18. I wish I had funds to buy stuff at Cadence right now. Ugh. But I just picked up a bunch of pages from elsewhere, including several from the artist of popular comic that just completed its run.
  19. Yep. Buy a plastic bin with an airtight lid, and put an open box of baking soda in there with the art (not spilled out, obviously) for a week or two to absorb the smell. Not sure if that will work, but it's a cheap and harmless thing to try. Just make sure the thing is not in a palace where it can be jostled.
  20. I know. They're something. There's a lot of nice stuff there. And I also tried to get a page from Geoff Shaw's 1st Thanos issue this afternoon, after Felix dropped the art. Missed it by THAT much!
  21. I will add this, I'd love to own the cover to Godzilla #8, where he's battling Red Ronin.
