  1. With Original Comic Art on CAF you will almost certainly see Wonder Woman near or at the top of the most searched list for last 24hours, 7 days and 30 days. Routinely Supergirl appears on the lists as well. As DC heroes go, I do not recall seeing Superman, Flash, Green Lantern even once. Batman of course does appear from time to time. https://www.comicartfans.com/popular-searches.asp
  2. Regardless of the quality of the film or it's potential success or failure the lead role is someone majority of comic collectors on the CGC forums dislike or abhor. Then there is the time proven rule; except for Batman and outliers never, ever speculate on DC. As usual see my signature regarding era's to which my posts do not apply. ^ I'd ask if you are happy now, but we all know thats a no
  3. Start a poll thread here in General if you like, and we'll see what the perception is...
  4. I'll take an old school modern label 9.8ow/w over pretty much any newly graded 9.8w!
  5. Still only in a circle shape. Only done on the Spideys i believe. Fun cover
  6. peeps in 2023 b needin' them meaningless validations to mask the fact that their lives simply aint special
  7. Zero buyers fee (for non credit cards and 3% on Credit Card) should encourage higher bidding over 19.5% Buyers fee at Heritage but in many cases does not. I think reasons for that include but are not limited to: 1) Less promotion from Comic Link. 2) Slow and Painfully difficult to navigate CLink website with no way for average potential buyer to keep a cart of potential item to bid on. 3) Shilling shenanigans at Heritage (Alleged) 4) Heritage Buyers premium counted in final sale by most aggregators. However 19.5% of those final sales numbers do not go to the seller/consignee. My opinion is if CLink's Website was brought into this century they would see many more bids and far more impulse bids from easier browsing. As for me I prefer to purchase from CLink for many factors but there seemingly circa 1999 website is not one of them

  9. IRON DUCK! Probably my favorite HTD cover
  10. LMFAO. Wonder if that inspired the Python's "Biggus Dickus" ?
  11. The 50-year-old Virgin With all the talk about Comic Sniffing on this forum lately, I'm sure that is rather common 'round these parts.
  12. Not sure if their circa 1998 single threaded website code can handle it. At minimum a complete refactoring is in order at c-link!
  13. sadly I get this message when I try "You are not allowed to upload animated images"
  14. Jerry Ordway is a good reason to meet you heroes. Class act all the way.
  15. Get used to it, the other shoe still has not dropped. As i said here in 2021 and was scoffed at; Bigger the bubble the bigger the bust. Most of us will not live long enough to see another time when nearly all slabbed books are hot.
  16. FEDEX has highest percentage of lost or stolen parcels of any major shipper. CGC's parent corp owns approx 6.5% of FEDEX so bully for them. IMHO get a PO Box to by-pass FEDEX's hijinks
  17. Have read a number of posts recently mentioning the smelling comics fetish. OK as long as it doesnt hurt anybody, but i do find it vaguely creepy.
  18. The one that sticks out for me were Dan and Josie DeCarlo. Friendly, Classy, Honest ( story for another time) people. They deserved so much better than the abuse Goldwater and Archie heaped on them their last few years.
  19. 2 self-submitted. ASM190 was a win from a Comic Heaven Auction in the 1990's Conan 96 is a $3.50 copy I picked up from Showcase NE in 1998.
