  1. Hi, all; ive posted five Daredevil Man without Fear pages for sale in my CAF by the stellar creative team of Frank Miller, John Romita Jr, and the late, great, Al Williamson. if you collected comics in the 90's, you'll recognize this among the best mini-series of the decade, containing Daredevil's expanded origin, the early days of his relationship with Elektra, and additional details and story elements that drove Matt Murdock to don the mantle of Daredevil. here's the linky: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=147
  2. Some very recent additions include: 1. Anderson Hawkman 8 cvr 2. Anderson Showcase 55 splash (Grundy!) 3. Kaluta/Carey Tec 429 cover 4. Cardy Batman 260 cover 5. McASM 322p1 splash 6. Dillon Preacher page from #1 and #2 7. Jones Batman 496 cvr (Joker/Knightfall) 8. Miscellaneous UG art that I don't care about , but I'm certain is the bees knees to some folks
  3. There are a few lots that haven't been discussed yet, and I'm hoping someone more knowledgeable with these artists and their works can shed some insight into the auction results on the following: 1. George Evans EC complete 7 page story = $25.25K. I'm assuming this is a strong result? 2. Graham Ingels EC complete 7 page story = $25.25K...also a strong result? 3. Wrightson Frankenstein plate = $46.55K. Good result, bad result or generally in the ballpark?
  4. Bagley JLA DPS = $688...prtty good deal for the lucky buyer!
  5. Bagley Asm 100 cvr recreation = $1.7k. Somebody got a good deal on that cause it would cost around $3K to commission it
  6. Wow! Some major pre-auction price jumps on the McWolverine Splash, Byrne Action cover, and Perez FF page
  7. Off the top of my head, Saviuk's output on Spidey titles falls well short of Sal Buscema, Mark Bagley and Jim Mooney.
  8. I know, right? The Perez Marvel Tales 261 cover is at $3.6K and looks stoopid cheap in comparison. Spiderman vs Hobgoblin. I used to own that cover and it is very nice.
  9. Whoa! The Perez Infinity Gauntlet page is already at $8.2K, and the other Perez listing are starting to heat up, too. Starlin stuff still seems cheap, for the moment. the Saviuk Web of Spidey cover is at $9.5K. WTF!!!
  10. So, getting back to the actual auction, has anyone else noticed the Byrne Avengers pages at $8K and $15.25k ?!
  11. Yes, it does matter when the auction ends, and there's several reasons why that's important, but someone more articulate should explain.
  12. Moreso for folks on the East Coast, some of these auctions end fairly late, and often beyond 11:30 so having the auctions on Thurs nite was better because you could show up for for a bit weary-eyed Friday morning and that was OK since nobody is as productive on Friday as they are earlier in the week.
  13. I completely agree that Tuesday is not a good day to wrap up an auction and I hope they revert back to Thursdays going forward.
  14. Well, looks like the JLA cover had another nice jump in price and is now at $37K+
  15. There are plenty of other pieces in this auction without a reserve price that are still very, very cheap currently. Bids will start coming Monday before the craziness begins on auction day, Tuesday
