  1. HI, all: A few months ago, I sent a package of OA consignments to Heritage. Unfortunately, the package was out for delivery Mar 4th and never seen/heard from again. The artwork was sent with item tracking and signature confirmation but was stolen in transit by a USPS driver. I have spent the past two months working with USPS (not helpful at all) and HA (very helpful). A police report has been filed Please spread the word, and DM me should you see/be offered any of the following artwork: Brett Booth Gunslinger Spawn #8 p20 splash with Spawn and Gunslinger Spawn Brett Booth The Flash #36 cover Brett Booth Flash/Speed Buggy #1p10 splash Herb Trimpe Avengers #333p9 (Captain America battles Dr. Doom) Jim Starlin Strange Adventures #5p2/3 Double Page Splash Jim Starlin Hawkman Special #1p8/9 Double Page Spread Jim Starlin Strange Adventures #5p8/9 Double Page Spread (awesome all-out battle) Jim Starlin Hawkman Special #1p4/5 Double Page Spread Brett Booth The Flash #54p20 Splash (killer splash page, pivitol moment) Brett Booth Flash/Speed Buggy #1p33 splash Brett Booth Flash Future's End #1p7 half splash Brett Booth Flash Future's End #1p8 Brett Booth The Flash 47p5 half splash vs Professor Zoom (reverse Flash) Brett Booth The Flash 47p7 splash vs Professor Zoom (reverse Flash) Billy Tan Uncanny X-Men #481p6 Billy Tan Uncanny X-Men #481p8 Billy Tan Uncanny X-Men #482p16 Billy Tan Uncanny X-Men #482p19 Billy Tan Uncanny X-Men #482p22 Billy Tan Uncanny X-Men #484p1 Billy Tan Uncanny X-Men #484p18 Billy Tan Uncanny X-Men #485p4 Billy Tan Uncanny X-Men #485p6 Billy Tan Uncanny X-Men #486p19 Billy Tan Uncanny X-Men #492p2 Jim Starlin Strange Adventures #5p14 half splash Jim Starlin Mystery in Space #8p28 splashy Kevin Maguire Supergirl #21p9 Kevin Maguire Supergirl #22p14 Kevin Maguire Supergirl #22p15 Pascal Alixe Ultimate X-Men #82p13 written by Robert Kirkman (writer/co-creator of Invincible & The Walking Dead) Pascal Alixe Ultimate X-Men #82p14 written by Robert Kirkman (writer/co-creator of Invincible & The Walking Dead) Pascal Alixe Ultimate X-Men #82p15 written by Robert Kirkman (writer/co-creator of Invincible & The Walking Dead) Pascal Alixe Ultimate X-Men #83p2 written by Robert Kirkman (writer/co-creator of Invincible & The Walking Dead) Pascal Alixe Ultimate X-Men #83p3 written by Robert Kirkman (writer/co-creator of Invincible & The Walking Dead) Pascal Alixe Ultimate X-Men #83p11 written by Robert Kirkman (writer/co-creator of Invincible & The Walking Dead) Mark Bagley Spiderman #2p15 Mark Bagley Spiderman #2p16 Mark Bagley Spiderman #2p17 Mark Bagley Spiderman #3p7 Mark Bagley Spiderman #3p16 Mark Bagley Spiderman #4p1 Mark Bagley Spiderman #4p8 Mark Bagley Spiderman #4p9 Mark Bagley Spiderman #4p13 Mark Bagley Spiderman #5p21 PS I sent HA a separate package the following week containing another 50+ OA consignments and I am just waiting for USPS to confirm once more that they haven't a clue as to what happened to the package. So I may have to file another police report.
  2. HIya, folks Got a few nice pieces flying under the radar at this weekend's HA Signature auction. Both items are ending June 25th. First up is the near complete 15 pages color guide for Detective Comics #474. Pages are very difficult to come by, and also very expensive whenever the opportunity to own one arises. So, here you have the near complete issue's color guides, from the estate of Marshall Rogers, and there are numerous noteworthy things to point out about this lot: Great opening splash featuring Batman and Robin in the Batcave, surrounded by giant props from the bat-stories of yesteryear Cameo of the Penguin in prison Boss Rupert Thorne receives a visit from the deceased (?) Hugo Strange Silver St. Cloud discovers that Bruce Wayne is Batman 1st appearance of the new Deadshot, later joins the Suicide Squad in their own comic and in the DCU movies Cameos of the Joker Deadshot and Batman have an epic battle atop a giant typewriter prop One of the battle pages includes a panel that is very, very simitar to the cover image Here's a direct link to the color guides at auction, followed by some pics: Jerry Serpe Detective Comics #474 Near-Complete Story Production | Lot #95571 | Heritage Auctions (ha.com) I've also got a nice Jim Starlin and Al Milgrom Infinity Abyss cover, published in 2002, over 20 years ago. This will probably be the most affordable Starlin Marvel cover you will ever have the opportunity to purchase, but I'll leave that to the bidders to decide. Here's a direct link to the Starlin/Milgrom cover at auction, followed by a pic of the OA, and the published cover for reference. 3. One less bidder = price difference. not much difficulty in resolving the variance
  4. prices for Warlock art already shot up well before his appearance in GotG. Suicide Squad pages (original series) spiked prior to the 1st movie, but have remained relatively flat since then. New Mutants OA prices (Sienk) experienced huge spikes prior to the Legion series and seem to maintain their prices. haven’t followed Sienk MK prices since the series aired, but they too had a massive run up prior to launch
  5. And possibly Chris Claremont, on a technicality… per Wiki: Claremont's career began in 1969, as a college undergraduate, when he was hired as a gofer/editorial assistant at Marvel Comics.
  6. I was at the show Fri and Sat and the crowds were much, much lighter than last year. while it’s true that several dealers were still asking peak Covid prices, others seemed to be concerned about the light crowds and were very willing to bargain by mid-day Saturday. I’ve been told by several dealers that Sunday was dead
  7. Not sure if it was a colourist so much as it was the Steranko story from Our Love Story # 5 heres a sample page
  8. It wasn’t Jack Abel at all. Jack was a self-professed ‘lazy’ inker per his early 1980’s Comics Interview interview. I think you meant to say Jack Adler. However, as Neal Adams has indicated several times, he informed Adler about the additional colour options available to them, and they went for it.
