    The actual number of books? should be rather high, given the number of pre-1975 ASM’s in 9.8. I’ve owned dozens of them. if you mean % of 9.8 vs submissions, then yeah, it’s a very small number

    Yeah, I tried to put back together the Romita Jr Peter Parker Spiderman #75 double sized issue. Was two-thirds completed but had to stop because owners of the remaining pages wanted crazy, Stoopid money. likewise, I tried to put together the complete interiors for DD: Man Without Fear mini series by Miller/Romita Jr and Williamson. Got 100 pages out of 144 after about a dozen years of shaking pages out of collections, auctions, etc. got bored of the chase and sold them all

    I suspect what you've described is exactly what happened to the packages I sent, and I have no doubt it was a USPS employee who did the thieving. As of today, I've contacted the major comic art sellers and auction houses with the comprehensive list of stolen OA. Hopefully, the thief will make a mistake and will be apprehended as a result of his/her greed.
