  2. Why do you think the price is astonishing? its currently at $20K for three connecting covers, which is still cheap for JSC stuff
  3. Sorry, I side with the artist on this. his rationale for NOT wanting to do commissions was detailed and valid…plus, he was offended by the requester
  4. I was sooooo happy when autograph hounds waited hours and hours to get a signed 8x10 because that’s when I can cruise around the comics dealers booth much more quickly, without people bumping into me, stepping on my feet, etc. also, less malodorous scents wafting throughout the area! 💩💩💩

  6. Yup, been to the show a few times. what would you like to know?
  7. Don’t drive to this show from Canada…totally not worth your time
  8. This is exactly the reason why I no longer post anything on CAF.
  9. I want to like this one, but I can’t get past the inking. Wish it was Austin over Byrne
  10. There was an article about how Bill Finger’s files came to light, written in Alter Ego magazine, I think. Unfortunately, I don’t recall the issue #, but there was an interview with Bill Finger’s son Fred ( a chef). He offered his fathers files to DC, but they turned him down. I don’t recall the rest of the article or what Bill’s son did with his fathers files thereafter. Additionally, I think he was interviewed once in the late 80’s on a tv show where he spoke about his father.
  11. All of them would have interested me to go to the theatre pre-Covid. however, only went to see Maverick, just like all of my buddies
  12. Re: dwindling box office returns… yeah, what you guys said, in addition to folks finding other things to do during Covid…folks haven’t returned to the movie theatres to pre-pandemic numbers. Many folks (myself included) don’t feel the need to go back
  13. As many before have responded, I would look for other copies of this book. However, I would do so very quickly as current prices will not hold
  14. Now at 870 OA lots. The comic book section also has an incredible offering of Gold/Silver/Bronze Age keys. looks like this one is going to hurt my wallet 🤣
  15. Dave Sim is always overlooked as a letterer, yet he was/is incredible at it. Back in the day, Dave used to write, pencil, ink and letter Cerebus.
