Hard to say for sure, but here are the ones that I think could be contenders (from highest to lowest)

    - Killing Joke #NN

    - Uncanny X-Men #141

    - Dark Knight #1

    - Uncanny X-Men #137

    - Turtles #1

    - Secret Wars #8

    - DD #181

    - Hulk #340

    - Wolverine #1 (Limited Series)

    - Thor #337

    - ASM #252

    - ASM #328

    - DD #168

    - New Mutants #98

    - Captain America Annual #8

    - Secret Wars #1

    - Punisher #1 (Limited Series)

    - ASM #316

    - Iron Man #128

I'm going to leave out Uncanny X-Men #275, X-Men #1 and Spider-Man #1 since I'd consider those Modern.  Also, I left out Uncanny X-Men #268 as it sold for $300k in 2020 (and also borders on Modern).  Not sure it'd break $1M two years later despite market appreciation.

    Very interesting picks🤔

I'm doubtful about Thor 337 as it's only beta ray bill, no Thor, if memory serves me correctly?

Completely forgot about X-Men 137, 141- and DD 168...definitely very strong contenders, agreed.

X-Men 142 is possible?  Death of wolvie?

Crisis 7 sure is iconic as is X-Men 136 but I think X-Men 136 would have a better chance at $1 million

  2. Just found hulk 340 cover OA on CAF!

According to the poster TM gave the cover to Peter David , Florida dealer acquires it from David , bill woo acquires it from dealer.

It's a great detailed cover, iconic cover imo

    Great to know it exists🙂

I think a $750k price is realistic if it came to auction.....and probably higher

I actually like both of these (the FF cover art isn't as bad as many people are saying it is, either, in my opinion) and, while I don't think they're worth $60K each, if I had the cash, maybe I would buy one just to own a Frank Miller cover (nope, I do not own one). I do think the prices are high, but these may be the only "affordable" Frank Miller covers for awhile. I agree that Miller's art isn't what we all loved on Daredevil and Dark Knight, but he's older now and his style has changed over the years. He is still Frank Miller, though, and that name still carries a lot of weight and value.

I can remember when a dealer told me variant covers aren't worth nearly what the main covers are worth. It wasn't Glen, though, so I'm not bashing him. But, that does prove the changing dynamics in the comic art hobby and how dealers are now selling variant covers and collectors are buying them just the same as the main covers.

Yeah I think the DD cover is not bad actually. Yes, $60 K for a Miller cover today is relatively cheap given hulk 163 sold for $90k around 2018 I think .

So hulk1 in CGC 7.5 sold for $10k more than ff1🤔. Is hulk 1 higher than ff1 on the Overstreet most valuable silver age comics list these days?
