  1. Yes, liz. It's the good Ghost Rider, not the one on the motorcycle...
  2. Just when you think you know someone, he posts a Savage She-Hulk. I like Rick even more now. 'Cause we both have a Savage She-Hulk #1. Of course, his is nicer.
  3. I wish that the Mad editors had put as much thought into the appeal of their covers as they did with the content. It's hard to compete with headlights, taillights, horror, and action with a text based cover. Maybe more pics of the inside pages, Ed? I really enjoyed what I could see of Starchie...
  4. Wake up and connect the dots on issue 18, Ed.
  5. Yes, I picked up a Wolverine #2 CGC 9.8 for my son recently. The outer cover was 9.6. I knew I had to get it when I saw it.
  6. That is sweet! I know that there are a lot of collectors looking for these. Some people have bought thousands of comics and have never seen a double cover issue. I myself would probably pay a 25% premium for one, maybe more depending on the comic.
  7. There are many of us on the boards that have a similar story to tell. Mine is uncannily similar to yours, even to the exact price you got for your collection of comics! I probably spent less than $50 on my whole collection. I read every single one of them, and thoroughly enjoyed them. I hope the new owners enjoyed them as much as I did.
  8. Yes, Amazon. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Very good deal, too.
  9. Good pickup! I was tempted to bid on that. Glad you got it. To console myself, I found this on Amazon...
  10. Nuts. I was hoping Rick would be itchy enough to post his Archie 50.
  11. I would love to see the grader's notes on that Peanuts #1. What the heck. Is the inside of the book blank?
  12. Rick, wrong image. You posted the Sinister House of Secret Love.
  13. I think he was trying to sell an ASM 300 without being trampled by the Silver Age crowd.
  14. That Betty & Veronica 40 looks too nice for the grade, methinks. Congrats to ComCav.
  15. I'm sure Rick told his wife that he was a fan of golden age girls and she misunderstood?
  16. Don't sell yourself short, Sharon! You are well respected here. And software engineers may be notoriously bad at dealing with end users, but just appeal to their sense of order and precision and you might just persuade them. Seriously. They probably wear cesium wristwatches with femtosecond accuracy, and they're settling for 16th century sundial timekeeping for the boards?
  17. Why would they do that? Can't you turn on the charm and get that fixed?
